NHL Playoffs Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Thursday (5/11)

We have one series that can end tonight, and with how this team has played throughout the playoffs,  it looks promising. One series has not become a best of three, so tonight will be an important game.

Thursday’s Best NHL Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

New Jersey Devils at Carolina Hurricanes

  • Leg 1: Hurricanes Moneyline (-125)
  • Leg 2: Under 6.5 Total Goals (-160)
  • Leg 3: Devils UNDER 2.5 Total Goals (+120)

The table was set for the Devils to make the same type of comeback they did against the Rangers. The offense was able to explode for eight goals in Game 3, but that momentum was quickly halted, and they took a 6-1 loss to go down in the series 3-1.

The New Jersey offense that could easily skate into the offensive zone the game before saw themselves get out-muscled in the neutral zone. They need to move the puck and get the opportunity for high-danger shots if they want to keep their season alive.

Great job by the veteran Carolina team for once again taking a brutal road loss, then coming back the next game and winning convincingly. In the last game, they completely controlled both sides of the ice, and they forced the Devils into 26 giveaways while they only gave away the puck twice.

This young Devils roster did a great job at making a comeback in the last series, but the Hurricanes have been here too many times, and they’ve had control of this series in all but one game.

Parlay Odds: +544

Seattle Kraken at Dallas Stars

  • Leg 1: Stars -1.5 (+125)
  • Leg 2: OVER 5.5 Total Goals (-135)
  • Leg 3: Jason Robertson Anytime Goal (-105)

After a brutal loss in Game 3, the Stars shined, and they got a big 6-3 win to tie the series. Dallas’ best players needed to start making contributions if they wanted to win, and they did. Jason Robertson finally grabbed his first point of the series, and Roope Hintz got his first goal. Those two need to contribute if they want to reach the conference finals.

The Kraken have a great offense, and the roster runs deep with guys who can score. The difference between the games they’ve won and lost is how aggressive they’ve been in the offensive zone. Their scoring has coincided with the number of high-danger shots, so they need to find a way to get through the Dallas blue line.

This game could be the tipping point for Robertson and Hintz, and that could mean the end for the Kraken.

Parlay Odds: +665
