NHL Playoffs Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (4/26)

We have one series tied at two, so tonight's game is important for each team because they don't want to be on the brink of elimination. One game has a team whose season could end tonight, so we'll see where to side there.

Florida Panthers vs. Boston Bruins

  • Leg 1: Bruins -1.5 (+110)
  • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-135)
  • Leg 3: UNDER 1.5 Total First Period Goals (+120)

The Bruins responded to losing Game 2 at home by smashing the Panthers in Games 3 & 4 by a combined score of 10-4.

The Panthers have been able to attack the Bruins with a large volume of shots, but Linus Ullmark continues to show why he'll win the Vezina Trophy with 3.9 goals saved above expected in this series.

There's no word on who will be in the crease for Florida because neither Sergei Bobrovsky nor Alex Lyon has not been able to stop this lineup. Even with Bergeron out, the lines have been able to push the puck, and there are plenty of playmakers still on the ice.

The Panthers used their offense all season to push themselves into the playoffs, but it isn't at the same level that averaged over four goals per game and won them the Presidents’ Trophy last year. Boston had one bad game, but their dominance on the road showed they're ready to finish this series.

Seattle Kraken vs. Colorado Avalanche

  • Leg 1: Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goal (-135)
  • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-155)
  • Leg 3: UNDER 1.5 Total First Period Goals (+105)

This series has been filled with close and exciting games, with Game 4 being no different. After the Kraken went ahead 2-0, Mikko Rantanen continued his outstanding performance with two goals in the third to send it into overtime. Seattle would clinch it thanks to a Jordan Eberle goal.

Eberle was third on the team in points in the regular season, but he has just two in this series (1G 1A), with Matty Beniers having just one goal, and their regular season goals leader James McCann, having yet to light the lamp. On top of that, now McCann is out for Game 5 after taking a vicious hit on Monday night. This proves how deep they are, but is relying on your deeper lines sustainable?

For the Avalanche, you can't stop Mikko Rantanen. He's on an incredible run with four goals in his last two games, but he isn't getting much help, with Nathan MacKinnon being the only other player with multiple goals, which were all from a single game. They received the terrible news that Cale Makar is suspended for Game 5 after his hit on McCann, which means they lost their best play-making defenseman.

This series is tough to predict a winner for either, and both sides will miss impactful players. Look for another close but low-scoring game.
