Thursday's Best PrizePicks NHL Player Prop Predictions
Here are some of my favorite picks.
Boone Jenner MORE THAN 1.5 Hits
The Blue Jackets have had an awful season and will likely finish the season with the fewest points in the league. Losing three of your top four points leaders in the offseason will do that to you.
They get the challenge of not only facing the best team this year but one of the best ever. Talent-wise, they arenât better than the Bruins, so in this matchup, they will wear them down physically, and they do have the hits advantage in the season series. Jenner has been one of the physical leaders in these games with seven hits and has gone over this prop in both games.
Vince Dunn LESS THAN 1.5 Hits
Seattle is sitting in the first Wild Card sport, but they're only three up on Winnipeg, who is in the second. It hasn't been a recent successive run, and they're just 3-4-2 over their last nine, as neither side of the puck has been able to support each in the same game.
Dunn is one of the best two-way defensemen in the league and leads the team with 61 points. His best attribute is that he's a great puck facilitator and won't get physical like other defensemen. In the three matchups against the Ducks, he's gone under this prop twice.
Nicolas Deslauriers MORE 3.5 Hits
The Flyers weren't expected to be competitive this year, but they have shown promise. Travis Konecny and Kevin Hayes are great on the forward unit, and Carter Hart has been outstanding between the pipes.
They also love playing physically and will try to get their opponent off their skates. That's certainly evident when Deslauriers is on the ice. He only has 11 points in 71 games and leads the team in penalty minutes. He's gone well over this prop in both games against the Senators this year.
