(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Montreal Canadiens at New York Islanders

  • Leg 1: Islanders -1.5 (+124)
  • Leg 2: Bo Horvat Over 0.5 Points (-175)
  • Leg 3: Over 3.5 Islanders Team Total  (-120)

The Islanders have a lot to play for. They are currently in third place in the Metro, but the Capitals, Penguins, and Flyers are within striking distance to where, if they slump, they could be out of the playoffs. Bo Horvat is leading the way with four goals during this five-game winning streak, Kyle Palmeri has five points, and Noah Dobson isn’t far behind with four. Although Semyon Varlamov has started the last two, he might get it again because he’s been better than Ilya Sorokov this year.

The Canadiens have been scoring a lot in the last few games, but unfortunately, it hasn’t resulted in many wins. Juraj Slafkovsky is coming off a hat trick, Nick Suzuki has six points in his last five, and Cole Caufield has a point in five straight.

The problem is the Habs allowed 19 goals in that span and were just 2-3-0 in that time. Look for the Isles to win and get closer to clinching a playoff spot.

Parlay Odds: +545

Philadelphia Flyers at New York Rangers

  • Leg 1: Rangers -1.5 (+114)
  • Leg 2: Vincent Trocheck Over 0.5 Points (-160)
  • Leg 3: Rangers Race To 2 Goals (-145)

The Rangers are currently the points leader and hold a three-point advantage for the Presidents’ Trophy. Despite the .886 save percentage in the last nine games and full-strength expected goal share below average, they continue to find ways to win. A lot of that has to do with the special teams, as they are third in Power Plays and Penalty Kills.

It is all going downhill for the boys from Broad Street. They are just 0-6-2 in their last eight and now have to climb over a few teams to get into the playoffs. You can’t just blame one side because, in that span, they have allowed 5.25 goals per game and scored 2.25, which culminated in a 9-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Flyers coach John Tortorella would love a win against his old team, especially because it would be his first this year. Don’t bet on that as Philly sinks further.

Parlay Odds: +479

Detroit Red Wings at Pittsburgh Penguins

  • Leg 1: Penguins Moneyline (-148)
  • Leg 2: Sidney Crosby Anytime Goal (+145)
  • Leg 3: Over 6 Total Goals (-125)

If you had said a few weeks ago that the Penguins would have a legitimate shot at the playoffs, it would have been the funniest joke. No one expected them to be here after they were sellers during the trade deadline, but they are 6-0-2 in their last eight and are just a point behind Washington for the second wild card. On the offensive side, Sidney Crosby continues to be an ageless wonder as he has at least 40 goals and 40 assists for the third time in his career, including 17 points in his last ten.

The Red Wings have been trending in the opposite direction since the All-Star break by going 5-12-2 in their 19. This has never been a good defense, but they had a few offensive playmakers that were a part of their early success, but during this span, they have averaged 2.36 goals, while before, it was 3.49.

A loss should essentially be the final nail in the coffin for the Red Wings.

Parlay Odds: +624
