Edmonton Oilers vs. Colorado Avalanche

    • Leg 1: Oilers Moneyline (-125)
    • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-145)
    • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Total Oilers Goals (-105)

The Avalanche are hot at the moment, winning five straight and eight of their last 10. What makes this more impressive is that they’re doing it with multiple injuries, including forward Artturi Lehkonen and defensemen Cale Makar and Bowen Byram. It continues to be Nathan McKinnion and Mikko Rantanen that are the saving graces who have a combined 16 goals and 35 points in the last 10 games.

If the Avs are hot, the Oilers are scalding. They come in winning seven straight and have a 13-game point streak. Colorado's first line is good but hasn't been better than Edmonton's. Connor McDavid is chasing history, but Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is now at the century mark in points, and Zach Hyman has six goals in his last 10 games. Don't forget Leon Draisaitl on the second line with the league's second-most points.

This will definitely be an offensive showdown, but the depth of Edmonton will play a large part against an injury-riddled Colorado lineup.

Detroit Red Wings vs. Carolina Hurricanes

    • Leg 1: Hurricanes -1.5 (+100)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-145)
    • Leg 3: UNDER 1.5 Total First Period Goals (+105)

I don't know if the Hurricanes expected to play meaningful games down the stretch. They held a comfortable lead in the Metro not too long ago, but the Devils and Rangers have surged, and they could end up placing third at worst. The team is having trouble adjusting to Andrei Svechnikov’s injury, and they are just 6-7-1 since he went down.

The Red Wings will finish with more points than last year, but they could have been better after the moves they made in the offseason. The offense was below average, with Dylan Larkin being the only player with a shot at finishing with a point per game, and the signing of Vile Husso between the pipes has -11.8 goals saved above expected.

The Canes know they need the win, and I like them to rebound with an important W.

Washington Capitals vs. Boston Bruins

    • Leg 1: Bruins -1.5 (-105)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-115)
    • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Total Bruins Goals (-145)

It's hard to argue against the 2022-23 Boston Bruins as the greatest NHL team of all time. The regular season wins record is clinched as they grabbed No. 63 in their last game, but there is still one more. They need at least one point in the last two games to climb over the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the all-time record.

It might not be difficult to get it tonight with the current state of the Capitals. They've dropped nine of their last 11, and the team looks stale and uninspired to finish a season that won't result in a playoff appearance.

The Bruins are at home with a rest advantage and don't have to face Darcy Kuemper.
