Buffalo Sabres vs. Florida Panthers

  • Leg 1: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-180)
  • Leg 2: Jeff Skinner Anytime Goal (+160)
  • Leg 3: OVER 1.5 First Period Goals (-205)

The Panthers are just one point behind the final Wild Card spot in the East. While they have taken three in a row, they will face a challenge with goalies Sergei Bobrovsky and Spencer Knight sidelined. Alex Lyon has been excellent in his last three starts with a .956 save percentage, but two of those games were against Montreal and Columbus.

The Sabres come in with the third-most goals per game this season and are averaging 3.80 goals per game in their last five. This is an important game as they sit four points behind Florida in the Wild Card, so a win today would put them back in position in this final week of the season.

The big news for Buffalo is that Tage Thompson will return after missing two games with an injury. This is a game where each team will need their offense to be on point. Each team has depth on their lines, and that will push the over.

Seattle Kraken vs. Vancouver Canucks

  • Leg 1: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-135)
  • Leg 2: Canucks ML (-105)
  • Leg 3: OVER 1.5 Total Canucks Goals (+110)

Seattle has a playoff spot, but they’ve fallen down the standings and are just 5-5-2 over their last 12 games. The offense has struggled by scoring well below their season average over in that span. With Philipp Grubauer playing Monday, Martin Jones will be in the crease but he has not been dependable this season with a -6.7 Goals Saved Above Expected.

That’s not good when you’re facing the Canucks. They are 11th in scoring this season, and even after trading away Bo Horvat, they still had forwards like Elias Pettersson with 36 goals, J.T. Miller with 29, and defenseman Quinn Hughes has 73 points. The goaltending hasn’t been consistent, with Thatcher Demko missing time with an injury, but he has a 3.36 GAA in 29 games.

Although Vancouver has lost three straight, they’ve been able to score, this excellent opportunity to catch Seattle coming in as the road team on the second leg of a back-to-back.

Edmonton Oilers vs. Los Angeles Kings

  • Leg 1: Under 6.5 Total Goals (+110)
  • Leg 2: Canucks ML (-120)
  • Leg 3: UNDER 3.5 Total Kings Goals (-140)

There is nobody playing better than the Oilers at the moment as they’ve won nine of their last ten and have grabbed at least a point in each. The best-scoring offense in the league is rolling, scoring nearly five goals per game in that ten-game span, and they’ve had back-to-back shutouts.

One of those shutouts was against the Kings. This is still a tremendous offense, as they scored seven goals in their next games. They’re also an excellent two-way hockey team being fifth in goals against above expected and the addition of Joonas Korpisalo with Pheonix Copley.

I expect the Kings to get shut down in Hollywood, as Edmonton has looked unstoppable. Also, Stuart Skinner has been great against LA this year, allowing 2.11 goals and a .949 save percentage.
