We have 15 total games on the National Hockey League (NHL) slate on Saturday, with just two teams sitting this day out. The Buffalo Sabres and the Carolina Hurricanes are the only two NHL teams not scheduled to play.
The Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils square off at 12:30 p.m. ET on NHL Network, but we’re going to avoid looking at that game, and any other day games. We’ll start with the 7:00 p.m. ET window or later. At 7:00 p.m., the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens can be viewed on NHL Network in the only other nationally televised. We also have three games starting at 9:00 p.m. ET or later.
Below, we feature solid NHL same-game parlays (SGPs) for tonight’s matchups. Perhaps you can mix and match with some NFL Divisional Round matchups, NBA contests or games from another full weekend of college basketball.
These parlays come with +400 odds or higher. Let’s get started.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Washington Capitals
- Leg 1: Washington Capitals -1.5 (+112)
- Leg 2: Under 6.5 Goals (-122)
- Leg 3: Dylan Strome 1+ Shots on Goal (-750)
- Leg 4: Aliaksei Protas 1+ Shots on Goal (-700)
The Penguins (19-20-8) and Capitals (30-10-5) square off at Capital One Arena in Washington at 7:00 p.m. ET. It’s always an entertaining game when Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin are on the ice together. If you’re ever in the nation’s capital, check out a game at Capital One Arena. It’s a great place to see a game. The concessions are pretty amazing and there are two sportsbooks and/or lounges on the premises.
Anyway, Pittsburgh just played Friday night in Buffalo, winning 5-2 behind Alex Nedeljkovic. He made NHL history by scoring an empty-net goal and tallying two points. He became the first-ever goaltender to record a goal and an assist in a single game. It wraps up a wild week for the Pens, as the team waived Tristan Jarry earlier in the week. After he cleared waivers he was sent down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.
The last time the Penguins played on no rest they were dropped 5-2 by the Tampa Bay Lightning at home in a game started by Jarry. Pittsburgh has won five of their past seven games when playing on no rest.
The Capitals have recorded back-to-back shutout victories. They won 3-0 against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday while covering the puck line as a giant favorite (-258) and won 1-0 in overtime in Ottawa in the battle between capital cities on Thursday. Logan Thompson has been on fire, posting the two shutouts, while winning three straight with just a single goal allowed. The under has cashed in five straight Thompson starts.
This is the first meeting between these Metropolitan Division foes this season. The road team has won five in a row in this series since October 13th, 2023, with the under going 3-1-1 in the past five meetings. The under is 5-2-1 in the past eight in the series, too.
Let’s go with the Capitals on the puck line, though, as they snap that road-team run in this series. Thompson has been strong and Pittsburgh comes in on no rest. The under is also the play based on Thompson’s recent success.
In addition, we’ll go simple on the player props. Let’s go with Dylan Strome to simply get one shot on goal (SOG). Obviously, at this price, do not play the Strome prop straight up. Let’s roll with Aliaksei Protas to get at least one SOG, too.

Edmonton Oilers at Vancouver Canucks
- Leg 1: Edmonton Oilers -1.5 (+152)
- Leg 2: Under 5.5 Goals (+112)
The Oilers (29-13-3) and the Canucks (19-15-10) meet at Rogers Place in Edmonton in a battle between all-Canadian teams.
Edmonton is aiming for its fifth consecutive victory. The Oilers have outscored its opposition 14-9 while going 8-1-0 in the past nine outings. Edmonton has scored three or more goals in 16 of the past 17 outings since December 12th.
Vancouver suffered a 5-1 loss last time out against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday and fell 6-1 on the road against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night. The Canucks are having a ton of trouble lighting the lamp, scoring six total goals in its past five games, good for 1.2 goals per game (GPG). The Canucks have allowed three or fewer goals in three of the past five games and six of their past 10 outings.
The Oilers won the first meeting back on November 9th by a score of 7-3, cashing as a -122 favorite. The over cashed in that game, but the under is still 3-1-1 in the past five meetings. Edmonton has won three in a row in the series, including Games 6 and 7 of their epic Western Conference second-round playoff series last season.
The Canucks are having a difficult time lately, going 1-4-2 across the past seven games, while going 5-8-6 in the past 19 outings. Thatcher Demko was thumped last time out against the Kings, allowing five goals on just 21 shots, so Kevin Lankinen is likely to get the nod tonight. He is 16-8-6 with a 2.63 GAA and .903 SV% with four shutouts this season. However, he allowed seven goals on 27 shots in that November 9th meeting with the Oilers.
Let’s back the Oilers laying the goal and a half and we’ll go with the under, as the Canucks should have trouble lighting the lamp against Stuart Skinner. The Oilers winning by two or more goals and the under gets us across the finish line for a nice payday. Keep it simple late tonight.
