Thursday’s Best NHL Same Game Parlay Bets

Winnipeg Jets at Philadelphia Flyers

Even some of the best teams in the league go through rough times, and that's what happening to the Jets. The team has dropped three straight and the offense has been quiet. They scored four goals in that span, but you could say it's just bad luck as their expected goal rate is above 54% in two of those games, and the same is true with over a 52% Corsi rate.

They still have Connor Hellebuyck, who continues to be exceptional. In two of those losses, he's allowed four total games and a .931 save percentage.

One of those losses was to the Flyers, who have played better recently. They are 4-1-1 in their last six games, which includes wins against the Jets and Oilers. They did a fantastic job at moving the puck to their offensive zone and getting into the crease and they had seven high-danger shots.

It will be tough for Philadelphia to beat the best team in the league twice. The Jets will make the adjustments they need to get a win.

Parlay Odds: +404

Calgary Flames at Dallas Stars

The Stars are one of those teams that can beat you with their offense or defense. Their offense is fourth in goals per game (3.41) and eight players have at least 10 goals.

The defense is even better, ranking third in goals allowed per game (2.57) and ninth in shots allowed per game (27.6). The blueline is still playing very well with their best defensemen (Miro Heiskanen) on the shelf.

Jake Oettinger is one of the top goaltenders in the league. He's seventh in goals allowed (2.44) and seventh in save percentage (.911).

The Flames are in a tight race for the final Wild Card spot and have just a two-point lead. They've been slowly dropping in the Western Conference standings, going 8-9-2 in the last 19 games. The problem is that the offense has been underperforming all season. They are averaging 2.42 goals per game during this run.

Parlay Odds: +442
