NHL Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Tuesday (3/26)

The NHL is in the final stages of its 2023-24 regular season, offering up another 12-game slate as the final playoff push unfolds across the league. The margin for error is small.

Detroit, the New York Islanders, New Jersey, and Buffalo are all within six points of Washington for the final Wild Card seed in the Eastern Conference. In the Western Conference, Nashville and Vegas hold a slightly bigger lead over St. Louis and Minnesota for the final two Wild Card seeds. As far as the President’s Trophy goes, which is awarded to the team that finishes with the most points in the regular season, there are seven teams either tied or within a point of each other. This demonstrates the parity we’ve seen in the NHL this season.

Last week, we extended our Same Game Parlay win streak, enjoying back-to-back wins thanks to the New Jersey Devils beating Pittsburgh 5-2 to cash both their moneyline odds and over 6.5 goals for a +221 SGP. Now, we look to go for the three-peat.

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Nashville Predators Moneyline (-138)

Vegas is coming off of a 2-1 overtime win in St. Louis on Monday night, meaning this will be the second leg of a back-to-back for the Golden Knights. Nashville and Vegas, ironically, both occupy the two Wild Card seeds in the Western Conference, so each has incentive to continue stacking wins. The Predators are the fresher team though, and they have won nine straight games against Western Conference opponents. These teams have split their season series 1-1, but I give the edge to the Predators at home coming off of three days rest.

Filip Forsberg Any Time Goal Scorer (+125)

The Predators’ top goal scorer, Filip Forsberg, will look to extend his goal scoring streak to six games on Tuesday night. Forsberg has scored at least one goal in five consecutive games and attempts anywhere from three to five shots on goal per game. Due to the volume of shots he takes, combined with his elite finishing ability at the net, Forsberg should remain hot against a Vegas team that has inconsistent play from its goaltending.

Under 6.5 Total Goals (-132)

Unders have been cashing lately in Vegas games. Five of the Golden Knights’ last six games have gone under the total goals line, including their 2-1 overtime win against St. Louis on Monday night. Nashville beat Vegas 5-3 back in February, but their first matchup wound up with five total goals. Oddsmakers have set the line to 6.5 total goals, with -132 odds favoring the under. Nashville has also recorded six or fewer total goals in five of their last seven games, so investing in the under makes a lot of sense in this high-staked Western Conference matchup.

Same Game Parlay: +528

We’ve gone back-to-back with our SGP wins, but we’re venturing into longer odds, coming in at +528 odds with the three legs we’ve selected in the Nashville vs. Vegas matchup. Forsberg’s red-hot when it comes to goal scoring and the Predators have gone 7-0-2 in their last nine games, hitting their stride at the right time. Juuse Saros is a solid goaltender and Vegas has only been involved in one game with seven-plus goals once in their previous six games. Good luck if riding this +528 SGP between the Predators and Golden Knights on Tuesday’s jam-packed slate of games in the NHL.
