NHL Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (4/1)

Less than 10 games separate us from the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. It’s now or never for most teams competing to either improve their playoff seeding or to qualify for one of four total Wild Card seeds across both conferences. Tuesday’s 10-game slate should offer a lot of high-flying action on the ice due to the high stakes associated with each win and loss.

We’ve hit on back-to-back NHL Same Game Parlay wagers ahead of tonight’s slate. Last Tuesday, we hit a +192 NHL SGP between St. Louis and Montreal. The Blues have been the cash cow for us and we’ll once again be on the hottest team in the NHL right now ahead of their home game matchup against the Detroit Red Wings.

Tuesday's NHL SGP: Detroit Red Wings vs. St. Louis Blues

              (Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

              Detroit Red Wings (+146) vs. St. Louis Blues (-178) | O/U 5.5 (-120/-102)

              St. Louis Blues Moneyline (-178)

The Blues have won nine straight games and have positioned themselves for a Western Conference Wild Card seed with 87 points. It’s the best time of the year to get hot and head coach Jim Montgomery has his roster buzzing ahead of tonight’s tilt against a desperate team like the Detroit Red Wings.

St. Louis will start Jordan Binnington in the net tonight. It’ll be nice to have the Blues’ primary goaltender in between the pipes again to start our NHL Same Game Parlay. The 4 Nations Face-Off victory as Team Canada’s starting netminder definitely gave Binnington a huge confidence boost he’s carried into the latter half of the regular season.

I expect the Blues to keep rolling against a Detroit offense that doesn’t generate a ton of shots on goal with a 4-6 record in their last ten games played. St. Louis is 18-6-1 as a favorite this season, so let’s not change a thing and back the Blues to hit a 10-game winning streak on home ice with their best goaltender defending the crease against the Red Wings.

              Under 7.5 Total Goals (-460)

I bought a couple of goals in the alternate total market, betting under 7.5 at -460 odds. St. Louis has gone under 7.5 total goals in seven straight games, while Detroit has also gone under this total in four consecutive matchups, including seven of their past eight games.

Binnington has held opponents to one total goal in each of his past three starts. Detroit will struggle to score and this game could wind up being 4-1 or 5-2 favoring the Blues.

Zachary Bolduc 1+ Shots on Goal (-780)

We’ll conclude with a player prop, backing Blues third-line LW, Zachary Bolduc, to record one shot on goal. Bolduc earns time on the first powerplay unit, creating quality looks at the net for him to exploit.

Bolduc has at least one shot on goal in eight straight games. He’s scored four goals in the Blues’ previous six games, while averaging between 13 and 16 minutes of time on the ice.

              NHL SGP (+115)

We’ve got a +115 NHL SGP with this latest three-legger that is tied up on the St. Louis Blues. Yes, the winning streak will inevitably end at some point in the near future, but this is a good matchup for the Blues.

Detroit is 2-4 SU in its last six games, beating Boston and Utah. St. Louis won 4-0 on the road in their only previous head-to-head matchup. Both teams play good defense and the Red Wings don’t score a lot of goals or get high shot volume on the net. Therefore, the first two legs are Blues moneyline and under 7.5 total goals.

The third and final leg is backing Zachary Bolduc of the St. Louis Blues to record one shot on goal, extending his streak of hitting this number to eight consecutive games tonight. Skating on the top powerplay unit helps quite a bit to cash this final leg for us.

After claiming the NHL SGP 25% PBT on FanDuel Sportsbook, this NHL SGP gets boosted from +115 to +144. Let’s bet a unit and ride the red-h0t Blues on home ice in a plus-matchup against the Red Wings on Tuesday night.
