NHL Stanley Cup Finals Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions (Golden Knights vs. Panthers)

The last time the Panthers were down two games in a series, it was 3-1 to the Bruins, and we know what happened after that. They will need to find that same spark as they head home with a 0-2 deficit.

Vegas Golden Knights at Florida Panthers

  • Leg 1: Golden Knights Moneyline (+100)
  • Leg 2: OVER 5.5 Total Goals (-140)
  • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Total Golden Knights Goals (+160)

It's been all Golden Knights in the first two games, as they've dominated under the bright lights of Vegas. They only have a slight edge in Expected Goals (50.54%-49.46%), but that doesn’t matter when you’re outscoring your opponent 12-4.

Adin Hill continues to be remarkable in the playoffs, with 7.8 goals saved above expected and a .967 save percentage on unblocked shots. The Panthers have been able to get near the goal with 66 shots in the first two games, but Hill has made many noteworthy stops.

A ton of credit also needs to go to this Golden Knights offense, who have continued to make their mark. All of their top forwards are contributing  â€“ Jack Eichel has four assists, Chandler Stephenson has three, Jonathan Marchessault has three goals, and Mark Stone has two points. Trying to contain all the options on the different lines has proven difficult.

We're learning that Sergei Bobrovsky is human. In the previous two series, he was unstoppable. There was no way to get through him, but that’s come to a screeching halt. We even saw him get the early exit nearly halfway through the second period after the Panthers were down 4-0. It's been announced that he will get the start in Game 3. Let’s hope he can perform better at home.

We’re also observing Matthew Tkachuk fade in this series. The hero of the playoffs has more time in the penalty box than on the ice, with an ejection due to game misconduct and a meaningless late goal to show for it. He was able to control the puck movement and score or assist in goals throughout the last two series, and he needs to have the puck as much as possible in this series.

The Panthers have done well at finding their groove on home ice, and a couple of days off could help them regroup. Vegas has been an excellent two-way team this season, and they've tamed the hottest team in these Stanley Cup Playoffs.
