Petra Kvitova is the only active two-time Wimbledon winner in this tournament, which is why she has the fourth-best pre-tournament odds. Kvitova won her 31st career WTA title after beating Donna Vekic 6-2, 7-6 in Berlin. She now has six career grass-court titles, four of which have come since 2017, and includes last year's win at Eastbourne. Kvitova faces a potential tricky third round opponent in 2021 finalist Karolina Pliskova, but she did beat her in straight sets in her Berlin run. As of Friday afternoon, Kvitova had the third-highest ticket percentage (10.5%) and second-highest handle percentage (21.6%) at BetMGM to win Wimbledon.
