PGA Betting Picks: Best Prop Bets for The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (2022)

While the Saudi International tournament has attracted many of the world’s best players this week, Pebble Beach will still play host to one of the more fun events each and every year. With fans and amateurs back after missing last year’s event, celebrities will also tee off to start the week at Pebble.

In an event that’s played over three different courses, with the first and last lap being played at Pebble Beach Links Course, let’s take a closer look at a couple of guys that should be going low in this one.

Top-20 Finish

Jason Day (+100 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jason Day is our horse for the course this week and boy is it good to be talking about the Australian again. Completely re-designing his game following a fall-off from the radar, Day nearly picked up his first win since 2018 last week finishing T-3 at the Farmers Insurance Open.

In his seven starts here at Pebble, Day has never missed a cut finishing T-11 or higher in each of his starts. Over the past two years, his only successes have come on short, often coastal courses with higher than average wind volatility. Add in an above-average SG: Putting on Poa, and look for Day to be competing here come Sunday afternoon.

Maverick McNealy (+120 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

A Monterey local and having played this course countless times growing up, McNealy has the professional record in this event to prove it. Turning pro in 2017, McNealy followed up a 2018 missed cut with consecutive top fives including a solo #2 last year shooting below 70 in all four rounds including a final round 66.

He also comes into this week as one of the best SG: Putting on Poa players in the field with a +.7 to over the past two seasons. Add on a hot start to the 21-22 season where he’s made 7 of 8 cuts and six top 30s, and I love for McNealy to once again go low in this one.
