Post-Cut Best Bets for the 2025 Masters

We have a star-studded leaderboard after two rounds at the 2025 Masters, setting up a fabulous weekend at Augusta National.

Now that the field has been trimmed to the top 50 players on the leaderboard plus ties, it's time to place some post-cut wagers. Here's who I'm betting.

2025 Masters Tournament: Best Post-Cut Bets

Scottie Scheffler to Win (+400)

So, let me get this straight. Scottie was +400 to win before the tournament began. Now, he's three shots off the lead with only four players in front of him, and we're still getting him at +400?

Yes, please.

Tournament leader Justin Rose Opened with a 65, but he could only manage a 71 on Friday, and I don't think he has the firepower to hang with Scheffler.

Bryson DeChambeau is certainly capable of winning but doesn't have a great track record at Augusta.

Rory McIlroy's stellar 66 on Friday has him in the thick of things, but Rory has a tortured history at Augusta, and it always seems as if disaster is lurking just around the corner.

Corey Conners is a great ball striker but a poor putter.

Scottie has won The Masters in two of the last three years and is well-positioned to add yet another Green Jacket to his closet. Take him at +400.

Xander Schauffele to Win (+5000)

We need a long shot to complement a somewhat chalky Scottie Scheffler play.

Schauffele heads into the weekend at -2, six shots off the pace. He has some ground to make up, but one of the many great things about Augusta National is that it allows hot players to pick up strokes in a hurry.

Schauffele has finished top 10 in two of his last three Masters, including a tie for second in 2019 and a tie for third in 2021. He's been a killer in majors, having won the Open Championship and the PGA Championship.

Don't count out Xander. A small bet on him could pay off handsomely.

Patrick Reed to Finish Top 10 (+190)

Reed goes into the weekend tied for 12th at -2. He won The Masters in 2018 and has been top 10 in three of his six Masters appearances since the victory.

Augusta National puts players' short games to the test, and Reed is a short-game wizard.

He may not always be the most likable fellow, but Reed is worth a top-10 bet heading into the weekend.
