Premier League Matchday 26 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)
Arsenal and Manchester City have set the bar for the rest of the league, so the race for the Premier League championship will likely always be a two-team contest. After a 4-0 demolition of Everton on Wednesday, the Gunners head into the weekend with a five-point lead over City. Cityâs 4-1 win over Bournemouth last weekend has them right on pace as well.
Manchester United has played one fewer game so far and is six points behind its local rivals, only a few points behind the two front-runners. Tottenham completes the top four, having reclaimed a spot in the Champions League by taking advantage of Newcastleâs recent slide.
Letâs take a look at a couple of matches elsewhere on the table Iâm dialed in on for this week.

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook
Aston Villa (+105) vs. Crystal Palace (+290)
In the year 2023 to date, Crystal Palace has gone eight games without a victory in the Premier League. They have drawn five of their past six games, though, and have gone unbeaten in their last three.
Unai Emery, the manager of Villa, has presided over 11 Premier League games for the team, in which they have scored in each of those games. In the competition during his leadership, they have six victories and four defeats and come into this one confident, given their success vs. Palace in the past. In the last 10 years at home in this matchup, theyâve only lost once, a trend theyâll hope to continue in this spot.
With 14 games left, Emery has Villa fighting for European qualifying, as they took advantage of Palaceâs failure to win last week by winning on the road at Everton. Currently sitting one spot (11th and 12th) apart on the table, this match is all the more important.
In the end, I like for Villa to build on their success last week vs. Everton, edging out a close win here.
Pick: Aston Villa (+105)
Brentford (+370) vs. Fullham (+260)
The longest active unbeaten streak in the league is held by Brentford, who havenât dropped a game in their last 11 Premier League contests. Fulham has equaled their record road wins in a single season with five wins on the road in league play as they hit the road for this one.
Both teams are capable of scoring, as Fulham has scored 36 goals, which is six more than Brentfordâs (37) this season. With 13 games left, the Cottagers are only six points away from a Champions League position, which is an incredible accomplishment for a newly promoted team.
In a match I have much closer to even on paper than the odds suggest, however, Iâm taking the nearly 4 to 1 odds here.
Pick: Brentford (+370)
