Premier League Matchday 30 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2025)

Between March Madness, a taste of the MLB regular season and a full slate of English Premier League action, we have an excellent midweek slate of sports on the horizon. All 20 Premier League squads will take the pitch between Tuesday and Thursday.

Below I'll break down three of the matches from a sports betting perspective. Here are my three favorite Premier League bets for Matchday 30.

Premier League Matchday 30 Preview & Best Bets (2025)

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Nottingham Forest (+115) vs. Manchester United (+215), DRAW (+245) | O/U 2.5 (-120/-115)

Let's pick it up on Tuesday afternoon, where Nottingham Forest is set to host Manchester United. The Tricky Trees reside in third place at 16-6-7 (54 points), while 13th-place Manchester United enters with a record of 10-7-12 (37 points). Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET from The City Ground in Nottingham Forest.

The sports betting market keeps undervaluing Nottingham Forest. Forest continues to pass a majority of their tests, which has led them to sitting in third place in the table. Now we're getting a chance to back the Trees at plus-money against the 13th-best team?

To put this in perspective, this is like getting the Ravens at plus-money to beat the Bears at home, or the Celtics taking care of the Trail Blazers at home in a pick’em spot. While those aren't 1:1 comparisons due to the draw option in soccer, I just want to illustrate roughly how this match is being portrayed from a betting perspective.

With all that said, I'm riding with Forest at home. They're 8-4-2 at home this season, which equates to a 57.1% win rate. They've also conceded only 10 goals across 14 home matches. The City Ground has truly become a fortress for Nottingham Forest. While United's offense has shown some life recently, I don't expect them to find much success in this game. I'm riding with Nottingham Forest on the Moneyline at +115 odds.

Bet: Nottingham Forest Moneyline (+115)

Manchester City (-575) vs. Leicester City (+1100), DRAW (+650) | O/U 3.5 (-120/-115)

Moving onto Wednesday, where a bulk of the Matchday 30 action will take place with six scheduled matches, we have an intriguing contest between Manchester City and Leicester City. The Foxes are still below the relegation line in 19th place, entering with a record of 4-5-20 (17 points). Hosting Manchester City is in fifth place, coming in at 14-6-9 (48 points). This match gets underway at 2:45 p.m. ET from Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

I was initially looking at playing City -2.0 (-140), just to have a push to fall back on. However, this profiles as one of those matches where Pep Guardiola's men can run up a 4-0 or 6-0 win against lowly Leicester City. Rather than lay a -140 price tag, I think it's better to take a shot on the +115 payout that comes with Manchester City winning by three or more goals. For starters, there's the motivational angle to this game, where Manchester City must collect the three points as they continue to fight for an all-important top-four spot in the table. They're one point behind fourth-place Chelsea at the moment.

Then, we have the statistical angle, where Leicester City is on pace to be the worst defense in the Premier League this season. They've dropped to 19th in goals allowed (65), while sitting 18th in expected goals allowed (53.4). Meanwhile, the Citizens are now second in scoring (55 goals) and fourth in expected goals (51.4). They've posted a 30:19 goals-for-to-goals-against ratio at home. Considering this matchup against the bottom-feeding Foxes, I like for the home team to win in blowout fashion.

Bet: Manchester City -2.5 (+115)

Chelsea (-155) vs. Tottenham Hotspur (+340), DRAW (+340) | O/U 3.5 (-110/-130

The Matchday wraps up in the capital city on Thursday, where Chelsea hosts Tottenham in a marquee clash. While the Lilywhites are a headlining team based on their name, they haven't been playing like it this season, as they're in 14th place at 10-4-15 (34 points). Meanwhile, the hosts have a coveted top-four spot in the table, sitting in fourth place at 14-7-8 (49 points). This Matchday finale is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET from Stamford Bridge in London.

I'll opt for a same-game parlay (SPG) in this one. I'm taking Chelsea to win outright and for the total to clear 2.5 combined goals. For starters, both of these clubs are top-five units in goals scored and expected goals this season. Chelsea is fourth in scoring (53 goals) and second in expected goals (55.9). Also, the Blues are 8-4-2 at home, which translates to a 57.1% win rate.

Across Chelsea's last 13 contests in all competitions, they've seen three or more combined goals on 10 occasions. Meanwhile, Tottenham has seen three or more goals in 11 of their last 16 contests. They've dipped to 13th in goals conceded (43), while sitting 17th in expected goals against (48.4). Honestly, there's a chance Chelsea wins this game 3-0 and hits both legs on their own. Regardless of how exactly it plays out, I like the Blues to prevail in a higher-scoring affair.

Bet: Chelsea to Win & Over 2.5 Goals Same-Game Parlay (+100)
