Denver Nuggets @ Portland Trailblazers

When you think about the best players in the league, one name is typically at the top of the list: Denver's Nikola Jokic. He's putting together another MVP-caliber season, and the Nuggets are rolling.

Portland is a great matchup for Jokic for many reasons. He can cook offensively against this defense, but I particularly like his chance to cash a First Basket. Like most teams, Portland gives up more first scores to centers. This is welcomed news for Jokic.

Jokic is one of the best First-Basket cashers in the league. He has 16 already, up toward the league lead. It's not just luck, either. There is volume in that stat, as he has 23 first-team scores for Denver this season. In a matchup where he should eat like he usually does against Portland, I'll be looking for him to cash yet another First Basket on Saturday.

Bet: Nikola Jokic (+340)

#11 Duquesne vs. #3 Illinois (-10)

In the past, Cinderella teams that make it to the Round of 32 typically get blown out or manage to continue the magic, pulling off another upset. Can the Duquesne Dukes keep this one close against this high-powered Illinois offense? While their offense could use some improvement after shooting 46% from the field against BYU, their defense has been physical and inspiring.

Illinois has scored 85+ points in their last three games, but a glaring weakness has been their defense. In each of the past three games, they were either losing or up by one point at halftime. Duquesne will need to manage to hang around in the first half, with hopes of causing some panic for the Illini in the second half.

It's essential they find good matchups on the defensive end, as Illinois' Marcus Domask has been nearly matchup-proof all season. The 6-foot-6 Forward can work smaller defenders with a terrific post game, while taller defenders have trouble staying with him on the outside. Domask's versatility opens up the door for Terrance Shannon Jr. to get the open shots he's looking for with a good matchup. The Dukes will need to play hard from the opening tip or else things could get ugly.

Bet: Illinois -10 (-112)

EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix

The No. 45 car was the class of the field at COTA last year, winning despite a poor pit strategy that caused him to make an extra stop. Coming in, the team has looked even faster at the intermediate and short tracks this season; Tyler Reddick will have speed.

Admittedly, I don't bet the Corning, Calif. driver much. But I'm all in when I do. Over the last two seasons, he has slowly become the best road racer, confirmed by his No. 1 spot in the road course Next-Gen total speed rankings.

I'm also on the 5-1 outright, although that number has gotten bet down to 4-1 at most shops. I'd wait until after qualifying to see if someone has surprising speed to knock Reddick off his spot and maybe back closer to his opening line. Either way, hit that and this T3 line available at FanDuel Sportsbook for insurance.

Bet: Tyler Reddick Top-3 Finisher (+150)
