NFL Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys

The Lions have arguably the best one-two punch at running back. David Montgomery started the year as the featured running back, but Jahmyr Gibbs has become the lead RB lately. The rookie running back has nine rushing touchdowns and 10 offensive scores, ranking second on the team in both categories. He has five touchdowns over the past three weeks, totaling at least one in every contest, including two in back-to-back games. More importantly, Gibbs has the first Detroit touchdown in three of the past seven contests.

While the Cowboys have one of the top defenses, they have had some issues keeping running backs out of the end zone. Dallas has surrendered eight rushing touchdowns to running backs, ranking 16th in the league. However, they have given up four touchdowns to running backs over the past two weeks, the second-most in the NFL. In addition, the first touchdown scored against the Cowboys has been by a running back in 38.5% of the games this season, including back-to-back weeks.

Bet: Jahmyr Gibbs Detroit Lions First TD Scorer (+320)

NBA Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Dallas Mavericks @ Golden State Warriors

The Mavericks head to the Bay Area to battle the Warriors, and Dallas is looking to snap a two-game losing skid. Dallas is just 2-5 SU in the past seven games while going 3-4 ATS.

On the flip side, the Dubs have also lost two in a row, but they're 5-2 SU in the past seven outings while going 3-1-1 ATS in the past five games overall. Golden State is just 3-4 ATS in the past seven tries against Western Conference opponents.

The Warriors have dominated this series lately, winning six times in the past eight head-to-head clashes, although Dallas has covered three in a row in the series, with the Over going a perfect 5-0 in the past five battles. However, while the series trends say Over, the trends for both teams lately suggest going low on the total. The Under is 6-1 in the past seven games overall for the Mavs while cashing in the past three road outings. The Under is 3-1 in the past four games for the Warriors, too.

Bets: Under 240.5 (-108)

College Basketball Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Florida Atlantic @ Florida Gulf Coast

The Florida Atlantic Owls head to Alico Arena in Fort Myers, Fla., to tangle with Florida Golf Coast. The Owls, up to No. 6 in the Coaches Poll and No. 7 in The AP poll, have experienced trips to Madison Square Garden in New York and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in the past couple of weeks. Will FAU be able to bring the same kind of intensity for a lower-profile game against the lowly Eagles?

FAU has covered seven of the past eight games overall, and the Owls are good for 83 or more points in eight of the past nine games overall. The Owls have rolled up huge offensive numbers. Meanwhile, the Eagles have allowed 72.1 PPG, while teams are hitting 44.4% from the field and 37.2% from behind the 3-point line. Look for the Owls to roll in Dunk City on Saturday.

Bets: FAU -15.5 (-110) + Over 142.5 (-110)
