NFL Best Bets

Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens

While he looked slow and washed during the regular season, Travis Kelce has bounced back during the playoffs. The future Hall of Fame tight end has 12 receptions on 16 targets for 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the postseason, finding the end zone twice last week against the Buffalo Bills. Kelce leads the team in target per route run rate (28%), receiving touchdown market share (66.7%, and first-read target share (35.6%) during the postseason (per Fantasy Points Data).

Furthermore, the superstar tight end leads the Chiefs in end zone targets and first-read target share in the red zone during the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Ravens surrendered only three receiving touchdowns to tight ends during the regular season, the third-fewest in the NFL. However, they never faced a superstar like Kelce. The future Hall-of-Famer has found the end zone at least once in seven of the past eight playoff contests.

Bet: Anytime TD Scorer: Travis Kelce (+115)

Houston Rockets @ Brooklyn Nets

The Rockets rolled up a 138-104 win on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday and now face a quick turnaround. The Rockets’ team plane arrived at Newark’s Liberty Airport at 12:16 a.m. ET, so it was a late night arriving at the team hotel.

Houston picked up a 112-101 win over Brooklyn in the first meeting back on Jan. 3 as a 4-point favorite as the Under (222.5) also connected.

The Nets have dropped three in a row and seven of the past eight games overall while going 2-5-1 ATS in the past eight and 4-16-1 ATS in the past 21 games overall. Brooklyn was on the short end of a 96-94 score as a 4-point underdog as the Under (218.5) easily came through. The Under is on a 5-2 run while going 9-4 in their previous 13 contests.

Houston is worth playing on the moneyline for a chance to multiply your money by more than 1 1/2 times, as Brooklyn has really struggled offensively lately. Additionally, the Nets have just two wins since Dec. 27.

Bet: Rockets Moneyline (+160)

NHL Best Bets

Arizona Coyotes @ Carolina Hurricanes

The Coyotes have been shockingly good this year after being a bottom-feeder last season. They tend to be streaky and aren’t trending in the right direction, as they are 3-5-1 over their last nine. The offense has struggled, and the absence of Nick Schmaltz isn’t helping, so Arizona will hope he returns soon.

The Hurricanes are a team with so many ways to beat you. They are allowing a shade under three goals, but this blue has been exceptional all season, allowing just 25 shots per game. The depth they have on offense is always what makes them great: six players with 10 or more goals and nine with 25 or more points.

It’s nice to see Arizona being a better team, but they don’t have the capabilities to keep up with the Canes, who are flat-out better on both sides.

Pick: Hurricanes -1.5 (-102)
