Washington Commanders @ Atlanta Falcons
While the Falcons have been an incredibly frustrating team for fantasy managers, I expect that to change this week. Washington has one of the worst defenses in the NFL, and Desmond Ridder should be able to lead Atlanta to victory. The Commanders have a bottom-10 rush defense in terms of yards allowed per carry, and Bijan Robinson has averaged 5.4 yards per carry this year. His usage could be better, but he's gotten at least 14 carries in three of his last four games (the other was a blowout loss). That kind of volume should be enough for 60 yards on Sunday.
Drake London has two TDs already this year and has seen seven red zone targets in five games. The Commanders have allowed nine TDs to opposing WRs this year - the most in the NFL - and London is a solid bet at +200 to get in the end zone.
Parlay Odds: +530

NHL Best Bets

Colorado Avalanche @ San Jose Sharks
The Avalanche got their season off to a great start with a 5-2 win over the Kings. Their playmakers came out firing, with Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen all lighting the lamp. They were also able to out-hit Los Angeles, something not a lot of teams can do.
The Sharks weren't as fortunate in their season debut, as they lost in their home opener to Vegas 4-1. This team knows they're in a rebuild; they traded Timo Meier last year and Erik Karlsson in the offseason. So, coming away with zero points will be a recurring theme for them this year.
The Avs are already showing up on offense, and defensively, they're also great, so grab them on the puck line.
Bet: Avalanche -1.5 (-105)

2023 South Point 400
Kyle Larson enters Las Vegas as the favorite, and for good reason. He won both the seventh playoff race (Texas) and the Las Vegas playoff race in 2021. The 31-year-old has the best career driver rating in the field at Las Vegas (98.5) and is third all-time in average starting position (8.1). That'll be huge, as passing will be at a premium.
In the spring, Larson was the second-best car in most advanced analytics, including total speed rankings (1.8), average position (2.2) and laps led% (23.3%), to only Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) teammate William Byron. While Byron has tailed off a bit at comp tracks as the season has progressed, Larson has not, ranking second in average total speed ranking at all of our comp tracks, behind only Denny Hamlin. Unless Lady Luck is unkind, Larson will be competing for the win at the end once again.
Bet: Kyle Larson Top-3 Finish (+130)
