Stefanos Tsitsipas is 5-5 in his career at Wimbledon, with two first-round exits sandwiched in between third-and-fourth round appearances. He is in terrible form on grass, and his backhand, which was once one of his biggest weapons, has been the side many opponents have targeted of late. Tsitsipas’s attention to his game and career have come under recent scrutiny after his relationship to Paula Badosa was announced. That scrutiny was only magnified after his three-set loss in the Round of 16 in his last match to Yannick Hanfmann.

Tsitsipas drew arguably the trickiest first-round opponent of all top-seeded players, as he faces Dominic Thiem, who has made the finals or better in three of the four Grand Slams.
