Sunday Night Football Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets: Packers vs. Bills (Week 8)

Green Bay Packers First TD Scorer: Romeo Doubs (WR) +500

The Packers might not score a touchdown, given how bad they’ve looked on offense lately. However, Doubs has a fair shot to score Green Bay’s first touchdown tonight. The rookie leads the team in targets and receptions while being second among wide receivers in touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Packers won’t have Allen Lazard, meaning Doubs should see an uptick in targets. More importantly, the first Green Bay touchdown has been a passing score in four of the past five games, three of which went to a wide receiver, including one to Doubs. Furthermore, the Bills gave two passing touchdowns to wide receivers in their last game, including a 42-yard touchdown to JuJu Smith-Schuster to start the game. If any wide receiver finds the end zone tonight, it will be the rookie.

Buffalo Bills First TD Scorer: Gabe Davis (WR) +550

Despite the Bills having the bye last week, Josh Allen is second in the NFL with 17 passing touchdowns. More importantly, Davis has scored the first Buffalo touchdown in half the games this year, including in two straight games, one of which was a 98-yard touchdown in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Furthermore, the Bills’ first touchdown has been a passing score in all six games this year. Meanwhile, the Packers struggled last week against the Washington Commanders, giving up two passing touchdowns to Taylor Heinicke. Davis is second on the team in touchdowns and targets per game this season. Don’t be surprised if the Bills attacked the Packers’ secondary early in the game with a downfield shot or two to Davis.

Anytime TD Scorer: Aaron Jones (RB – GB) +130

With Lazard and Randall Cobb unable to play tonight, the Packers will have an extremely young wide receiver unit on the field. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers recently expressed his frustration with the young players. Therefore, expect Jones to have 18 or more touches in tonight’s game. The veteran running back leads the team with four touchdowns this season, three of which have come in the air. Meanwhile, the Bills have given up five total touchdowns to running backs this year compared to four for wide receivers and tight ends combined. Not only is Jones an excellent bet to score anytime tonight, but at +310, he’s a solid first Green Bay touchdown scorer bet too.

Anytime TD Scorer: Stefon Diggs (WR – BUF) -115

While Buffalo had last week off because of their bye, Diggs is still second in the NFL with six receiving touchdowns. Furthermore, the veteran has scored at least one touchdown in four of six games this season and had a three-score performance in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. More importantly, Diggs has found the end zone in back-to-back games. Meanwhile, Jaire Alexander and the Packers struggled to contain Terry McLaurin last week, giving up five receptions and a touchdown to the veteran receiver despite Heinicke starting at quarterback. More importantly, 85% of Buffalo’s offensive touchdowns have come in the air this season, with Diggs accounting for 35.3% of those touchdowns. Expect a big performance from the veteran tonight.
