Here are today's best bets.

MLB Best Bets

Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers

The Atlanta Braves are one of the best teams in the MLB. The projected lineup has hit a .271 ISO and wOBA of .373 against righties over the last month. No player in the lineup has an ISO below .150 against righties.

The Braves will take on a familiar foe in Julio Teheran. Teheran is a former Braves pitcher who has allowed a .301 wOBA and ISO of .415 against his last 77 batters. Teheran is now with the Brewers, and he started his season well. he's taken a step back recently.

Meanwhile, All-Star pitcher Bryce Elder will start for the Braves. He's also taken a step back over the last month, giving up a .218 ISO and wOBA of .395 over the previous month. However, the Brewers' offense is one reason Elder gets back on track tonight.

Milwaukee's lineup has hit a .133 ISO and wOBA of .323 against righties over the last month. Only two players have consistently hit for power, and three have hit a high enough wOBA.

Elder still has limited line drives to 19.7% and has earned nearly 48% of ground balls over the last 30 days. He'll be fine against this Brewers lineup. Let's take the Braves -1.5 at -108.

Bet: Braves -1.5 (-108)

Big 3 Best Bets

Tri-State vs. Trilogy

Tri-State looked absolutely terrible in their Week 4 loss to Ghost Ballers. They didn't score over 20 points in either half, as they were blown out 50-33. Meanwhile, their opponents in Trilogy picked up a much-needed 50-36 win after losing two in a row. The victory came because of an outstanding 27-point performance from Ryan Carter. Carter missed the first two games of the season but scored 34 in Trilogy's last two games. I like Jason Richardson to have a much better game this weekend than he did last weekend, and Tri-State will be playing not just for a postseason berth but also pride. However, the trio of Earl Clark, Isaiah Briscoe, and now Ryan Carter will be too much for Tri-State to handle.

Pick: Trilogy -2.5 (-115)

-Phil Wood

TBT Best Bets

Mass Street vs. Heartfire

The Heartfire have escaped in two close games to reach the quarterfinals. They don't have many scoring options offensively and aren't consistent on offense, to begin with. Eric Griffin and Tevin Mack have been the two players that have played well during an extended about of time. On the other hand, Mass Street escaped Show Me Squad with a 69-65 victory. They haven't amazed offensively, either. But Thomas Robinson, Keith Langford, and LaGerald Vick give Mass Street more offensive ability. Let's ride with Mass Street here.

Pick: Mass Street -1.5 (-115)

WNBA Best Bets

Phoenix Mercury vs. Washington Mystics

The Phoenix Mercury are just 6-15 on the season. However, the Mercury have won two straight games, knocking off Connecticut and Chicago in two home games.

They'll be on the road today and already took an 88-69 defeat from the Mystics earlier this year. Diana Taurasi is still unable to play. She's the second-leading scorer for the Mercury. But they've been doing just fine without her. Brittany Griner added a double-double in their most recent win, and the bench stepped up in Taurasi's absence.

On the other hand, the Mystics have lost three of their last four games. The New York Liberty scored 98 against Washington in the most recent matchup. While the Mercury has a lot of depth, the Mystics don't. They're super reliant on their starting five. Against the Liberty, the Mystics got six points from the bench and played only two players more than six minutes off the bench.

I wish the Mercury were at home. But I think something's brewing with this group. Let's take the Mercury at +4.

Bet: Mercury +4 (-110)
