Philadelphia Phillies @ Washington Nationals
- Leg 1: Phillies Moneyline (-170)
- Leg 2: Under 8.5 (-130)
- Leg 3: Bryce Harper To Record 2+ Total Bases (+125)
The Phillies got their first series win of the season, but they would love to get the sweep against the Nationals. The lineup is clicking on all cylinders, especially the top, as they got all east one hit from the 2-6 batters in both games of this series, and the bullpen has been closing out these games by allowing one run. Cristopher Sanchez gets the ball and had a fantastic debut, going five innings, allowing two earned and striking out eight.
The Nationals struggling is something we'll see throughout the season, as they should likely finish at the bottom of the standings. Mackenzie Gore gets the start and allowed three runs in 5.1 innings in the first start.
Sanchez had some swing-and-miss stuff, and it should be another high-strikeout day against the Nats, who are 18th in K Rate.

Washington Wizards @ Toronto Raptors
This is perhaps the worst game on the schedule, and I cannot blame anyone for wanting to stay away from this game. However, there might be one of the biggest edges on the board in this matchup. Although both of these teams are toiling in the lottery yet again, one of them has shown that they aren't even playing a competitive brand of basketball.
Before Friday's win over the head-scratching Bucks team, the Raptors had lost 15 straight games. Only five of these contests were single-digit losses. In the midst of this streak, they lost to Washington, in which they lost both the rebounding and shooting edge to the Wizards.
Washington has won four of its last nine games and only one game by double digits in that span. Although this season has been a massive loss for Washington, it is clear that they're playing hard and competing down the stretch. I believe the wrong team is favored here, so I will be taking the underdog, including a sprinkle on the moneyline.
Pick: Wizards +4 (-110)

2024 Cook Out 400
I don't want to be the analyst who keeps recommending readers bet Hamlin and Kyle Larson each week. Real original. I get it.
However, they cash tickets, especially on short tracks and at Martinsville. Larson was the only Chevrolet to finish better than P13 in the fall race here. In addition, he is the only Chevy who was P7 or better in any of the two Martinsville races last year.
While we're only using comp tracks loosely this week, the California native has excelled at all of them lately. Larson came from the rear to win the 2023 All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro. He also finished fourth at New Hampshire last season and fifth at the Busch Light Clash this year.
The No. 5 car has been the top Chevy at Martinsville three races in a row. I'll take the +190 shot that he makes it four straight.
Bet: Kyle Larson Top Chevy (+190)
