Super Bowl LVII Novelty Prop Bet Picks: Gatorade Color (Eagles/Chiefs)

I write a lot of betting preview articles during Super Bowl week, but this one might be my favorite. Instead of breaking down X’s and O’s, I break down set lists, song lengths, and Gatorade colors. It’s a fun diversion each year from the grind of handicapping the big game every year.

But of course, unlike my actual game bets, I am merely taking educated stabs in the dark. Without inside information, these non-football prop markets are more luck than anything else aside from the coin toss. And if you’ve got some intel, feel free to let me know on Twitter, @RealMattBarbato!

Best Super Bowl LVII Non-Football Prop Bets

Without further ado, here are my picks for this year’s non-football props.

Gatorade Color Dumped On Winning Coach

Finally, we have to take a guess as to what color of Gatorade will be doused on the winning coach. Blue has gone on a nice run lately, as three of the last four Super Bowl coaches have gotten a blue Gatorade bath.

Yellow / Green is the consensus favorite, which makes sense considering the Eagles are favored to win the game. Orange is second, and blue is third. You may be thinking red should be higher on the odds, considering they match K.C.’s colors. But keep in mind that Andy Reid was dunked in orange Gatorade after this team won Super Bowl LIV.

This one feels simple, although completely random. If you like Philly, go with the favorite. If you like the Chiefs, take orange.
