Thursday Night Football Odds, Picks & Predictions: Commanders vs. Bears (Week 6)

This game stinks out loud. The Bears and the Commanders have two of the worst offenses in the NFL, and neither teams’ defense is bad enough to be exploited on Thursday Night. Points should not be expected in this game, and even a total set at 38 may be ambitious for this game. Chicago and Washington rank 29th and 30th, respectively, in Offensive DVOA, and neither team scores more than twenty points-per-game. Plug your nose, and back the Under.

Regarding an ATS pick, this is the definition of a toss-up. This would usually be a fine spot to bet the home team in a pick-em, but first year Head Coaches have historically struggled on Thursday Night Football. I’ll back the Bears for one reason: “Quarterback.”
