Here are today's best bets.

NFL Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

New England Patriots @ Pittsburgh Steelers

There are two reasons this number isn't lower. First, the NFL rarely has lines any lower than 30, and second, weather is not expected to influence this game. However, with the two teams stepping on the field, the under is the right play.

The last three Patriots' games have seen a combined 39 points. The Patriots have not scored more than seven since they played the Washington Commanders in Week 9. Meanwhile, the Steelers' offensive issues have been well-documented. They've scored 10 points in two of their last three games and haven't scored 20 or more since Week 10.

Bet: Under 30 (-110)

NBA Best Bets

New Orleans Pelicans @ Los Angeles Lakers

The New Orleans Pelicans have won the tip in 55% of games this season. However, they've only scored the first field goal in 41% of games while attempting the game's first field goal attempt in 41% of games.

That's not ideal.

Meanwhile, the Lakers have won the tip at a slightly lower rate at 52%. Still, Los Angeles has added the first field goal in 57% of games and has attempted the first field goal in 52% of matchups. That sounds a little bit better.

D'Angelo Russell has started the most games for the Lakers this season. In 21 games, he's added the team's first field goal in 24% of games. He's nailed five first field goals in 21 games and has a team-high three in the last 10 games.

The Lakers typically share the ball early. However, Russell stands out the most at +1000 odds.

Bet: D'Angelo Russell (+1000)

NHL Best Bets

Anaheim Ducks @ Chicago Blackhawks

Two of the worst-performing teams in the Western Conference will collide on Thursday night in Chicago as the Blackhawks host the Anaheim Ducks. While this may seem like a gross matchup to watch, there's some significant value to acquire in betting markets. Chicago allows 3.67 goals per game, the third-most in the league, followed by Anaheim at 3.48 goals allowed per game, which is fourth-highest.

Oddsmakers have set the goal total line at 6.5, with -102 odds on over 6.5 total goals, which is where we need to invest. Anaheim has gone over 6.5 total goals in two of their past three contests. Meanwhile, Chicago has been the team unable to manufacture goals, only hitting over 6.5 total goals once in their last four games, which occurred during their last outing in a 4-3 loss to Nashville.

Still, the Ducks' expected goaltender, John Gibson, has allowed three to five goals in three consecutive starts, while Petr Mrazek, Chicago's goalie, has allowed nine combined goals across his last two starts. Let's not overthink this one, as there isn't much defense to spare on either side, with sub-par goaltending also factoring into this matchup. We'll stake a unit on over 6.5 total goals at -102 odds.

Bet: Over 6.5 Total Goals (-102)
