San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Super Bowl LVIII)

Deebo Samuel should lead the way for the 49ers’ passing attack. He’s hit the over for his line in five of his last 10 games. In the playoffs, Kansas City has deployed two-high safeties on 77.2% of their defensive snaps. Samuel has been San Francisco’s answer for two-high this season. Since Week 10, against two-high, he has had a 23.1% target share (leads the team), 2.53 YPRR (team-leading) and a 34.8% first-read share. L’Jarius Sneed hasn’t followed a receiver on more than 50% of his routes since Week 17, so I doubt Samuel sees a shadow in this game.

Bet: Deebo Samuel OVER 58.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Detroit Pistons @ Portland Trail Blazers

The Pistons (7-43) and the Trail Blazers (15-35) lock horns in the Rose City at the Moda Center in the final game of the evening at 10 p.m. ET.

While both teams are well under .500 on the season, Detroit and Portland are each 3-4 SU in the past seven outings, and both have actually been pretty sharp against the number lately.

Portland is 8-3 ATS in the past 11 games against Eastern Conference teams while covering four in a row. The Under has cashed in 10 of the past 15 games for the Blazers, too, as the defense has been slightly better lately.

Detroit has covered in 10 of the past 12 games, while the total has gone high in three of the previous four contests. Portland covered the first meeting in Detroit, winning 110-101 as 3.5-point underdogs with the Under (216.5) connecting.

While the Trail Blazers have been hot lately, at least against the number, Portland is just 1-3 ATS in four games this season as a favorite. Play the Pistons, catching the points in what could actually be a surprisingly entertaining game.

Bet: Pistons +5.5 (-112)

Winnipeg Jets @ Philadelphia Flyers

We’re starting off with a plus odds wager on the Philadelphia Flyers. Returning home from a successful road trip to Florida, beating the Panthers in a comeback effort after falling down 1-0 in the first period, this Flyers team has gained momentum out of the All-Star Weekend. It allowed Owen Tippett to get healthy. His presence, although he didn’t record a point against the Panthers, boosts the Flyers’ offense considerably.

Winnipeg is trending downward, as the Jets were shut out by Pittsburgh 3-0 during their first post-All-Star break game. Connor Hellebuyck has surrendered three goals in three consecutive starts, and the Jets only rank 16th in goals per game scored, averaging 3.08 per contest. Philadelphia goalie Samuel Ersson has become the primary netminder, holding the Panthers’ potent offense to one goal against 21 shots faced. Ersson also recorded his third shutout of the season on the road against the Jets last month, which bodes well for the Flyers’ outright odds.

Philadelphia has beaten Winnipeg in nine of their last 10 matchups at home in front of Flyers fans at Wells Fargo Center. They’ve also beaten the Jets in four consecutive head-to-head matchups, including the road win last month. At plus odds, we’re obligated to stake a unit on the Flyers to win outright to improve to 2-0 out of the All-Star break.

Bet: Flyers Moneyline (+116)
