Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (11/14)

After a busy weekend in the NBA, we are back on Monday’s seven-game slate, and I’m dialed in on three more games to get us back to our winning ways following a sluggish end to last week. Let’s take a closer look at the three spots I see the most value, in and where I’m jumping in before the numbers are gone.

YTD Record: 19-13-1 ATS

1. Magic -1.5 -110 at DK Sportsbook

LaMelo Ball is supposed to return to the Hornets tonight, and while I expect him to make an impact by the end of the week, I don’t see it coming right out of the gates. The Hornets have been a dumpster fire without him, ranking 26th or worse in all major offensive categories as they come into this one, having lost nine of their last 10 games, including eight straight.

The Magic are dealing with a star’s injury of their own, as a rookie phenom, Paolo Banchero has missed two straight games with an ankle injury. The Magic, however, have fared just fine in the time since, having won two straight, winning outright as 7 and 8.5-point underdogs. I like for Orlando to have enough to win this one at home as well.

2. Thunder +12 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Putting up 130+ points in three straight games, the Thunder have emerged as one of the league’s best offenses, now averaging 115.8 points per game. Winning their past two, the Thunder needed all of those points, as their defense has been an equally bad move that stretch, allowing an average of 128 points per game.

Now, playing their third game in four days, the Thunder will head to Boston to take on a Celtics team that has won seven straight. Over that run, however, Boston has won just one game by more than 12 points, as they’ve also led opposing offenses to get to the basket relatively freely.

While this line move from +11 indicates the market is banking on the tired legs of the Thunder, I think this young squad will still have enough in the tank to keep this one within a dozen points.

3. Spurs +7.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Though this certainly isn’t the Spurs of old, that doesn’t mean this team still isn’t competing on a nightly basis. Despite losing four of their past five, the Spurs have now covered three straight against some of the best teams in the league in Milwaukee, Memphis, and Denver.

The Warriors come into this matchup having lost six of their past eight, most recently following on the road last night at Sacramento. While they will no doubt figure things out as the season goes on, this is a spot I see the Spurs being able to stay in the game late.
