Top 3 NBA Betting Picks for Friday, December 3rd (2021)

The NBA was crazy last night. We saw the Pheonix Suns hit a franchise record with eighteen straight wins. They play the Warriors again tonight. Will it be the night that their streak comes to an end? Last night the Thunder also played and lost 152-79. Wild things happened last night, but that isn't going to be every night in the NBA. Today is a great time to look into the betting value for the NBA after a crazy night. Let’s find the best bets.

Cleveland Cavaliers Moneyline +155 at Draftkings Sportsbook

I have been riding the Washington Wizards all season long. They are a great basketball team but are susceptible to being upset. Recently the 4-16 Pelicans beat them 127 – 102. This time it's the Cavaliers turn. They are on a three-game winning streak. That is the same time that they got starting center Evan Mobley back. When he was hurt, the Cavaliers lost four straight. The Cavaliers play through their big men, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. These two are great players for the Cavs, and they get more rebounds than their opponents. Rebounds give them more opportunities to score the basketball. The Wizards struggle against teams with great big men. When they played Minnesota last, Karl-Anthony Towns had 34 points against them. This game is a bad matchup for the Wizards.

Utah Jazz – 8  -110 at Draftkings Sportsbook

I have talked about this before. The Utah Jazz are regular-season All-Stars. They are sitting at 14-7, and when the spread is 5-9 points, they cover about 75% of the time (30-8). In their last two games, they have won both games by 22 points. Tonight they play the Boston Celtics, and Jaylen Brown is out. Without Brown, the Jazz will have even more opportunities to run up the score on the Celtics.

Evan Mobley Double-Double +290 at Draftkings Sportsbook

Lower your units on this one. Mobley got a double-double last game, and the two games before that he was off by one or two rebounds each game. This year Mobley is averaging 14.5 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. The difference in this game is the height. The Cavaliers play tall, and that will show in this game. Montrezl Harrell is a great scoring center. At 6' 7", he isn't the best at rebounding. Daniel Gafford isn't much better at 6'9". He is averaging five rebounds a game. This matchup is perfect for Mobley to get his rebounds and top off the double-double.
