Top 3 NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday, November 17th (2021)
With 11 games on Wednesdayâs slate, tonight offers no shortage of options for those looking to put their post-tax dollars down in the Association. Iâve parsed through the noise and found three gameâs that I think provide some value for those looking to get involved.
Letâs take a closer look.

1. Celtics +4| -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
After a 2020-21 run that took them all the way to the Eastern Conference finals against the eventual champion Bucks, the Atlanta Hawks have stumbled back down to earth this season starting just 6-9 through their first 15 games. At home, however, theyâve been just as good, sitting at 5-1 (5-1 ATS) on the season following a 20 and 18-point win Sunday and Monday against the Bucks and Magic, respectively.
For the visiting Celtics, things have also started to turn around following a slow start with a new coach, coming into this one winner of three of four including a Monday night win vs. the Cavaliers. Even more impressive, however, the Celtics have covered seven straight games.
With Hawks wingman Kevin Hueurter likely out of this one with hamstring tightness in addition to DeâAndre Hunter missing following wrister surgery, I like the Celtics to get their eight straight covers.
2. Thunder -3.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
While the Thunder have had a less than desirable start, the Rockets have been just putrid, coming into this game with a record of 1-13 (5-8-1 ATS), missing the cover in their last two by an average of 20 points.
On the other side of this contest, the Thunder fought off a sluggish start to win four straight games at the start of November before running into the buzz saw that was Brooklyn/Miami in back-to-back games over this past weekend.
Welcoming the Rockets to town should be a welcomed sight, and I like for the Thunderâs big men to feast and for the team to get back on track in this one.
3. Pacers -6.5| -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Coming into this one dead last in the NBA in FG% (40.6%), Points Per Game (98.3), and 3PT% (29.5%); the Rockets may have the worst record but the Pistons are the worst team on paper. Led by top pick Cade Cunningham, the Pistons have just been inconsistent as much as anything else, scoring 78 points and then 127 points in consecutive games last week.
Their opponent in this one, the Pacers, have been largely inconsistent as well but are on a 7-3 ATS run over their last 10 games.
In this one, I like for this veteran team to bounce back following a tough loss on Monday vs. the Knicks, and cover this growing number on the road in Detroit.
