Top 3 Super Bowl Prop Bet Odds & Picks: 49ers vs. Chiefs (2024)

It’s almost time for Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

If you’re looking to bet on the big game, going through all the betting markets and options could get overwhelming and confusing.

Therefore, I’ve added my favorite Super Bowl LVIII prop bets. Some are prop bets for the game, and others are bets outside of the actual game action. There’s a bet for everyone!

      Super Bowl LVIII Prop Bets

      (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

      Brock Purdy Passing Yards (248.5)

Brock Purdy has thrown for more than 248 yards in nine of his last 12 games, including the playoffs. The Niners are known for running the football with Christian McCaffrey. But that hasn’t taken away from Purdy’s ability to throw the football down the field.

Purdy gets a bad rep. He’s not polished like the other quarterbacks and probably gets away with many mistakes.

However, I like the Chiefs to win this game and believe Kansas City will get out to a blistering start. That said, Purdy, like his game against the Lions, will have to show up in the second half and start throwing the ball a little bit more. The losing quarterback will likely end up with more passing yards.

Bet: Brock Purdy Over 248.5 Passing Yards (-115)

      Travis Kelce Receiving Yards (70.5)

Travis Kelce didn’t have the most effective season. But he’s turned it on in the playoffs. He’s one of the best tight ends in NFL history and shows up in the big moments.

Kelce has added 23 catches on 27 targets and has added at least 71 receiving yards in every playoff game this year. Plus, all of these playoff games were in cold temperatures. Now he gets to catch passes in much warmer Las Vegas instead.

The Chiefs really have just two reliable targets. It’s Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce. Therefore, Kelce will be involved in this one. He’s even coming off a performance with 11 catches on 11 targets against the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.

Bet: Travis Kelce Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-130)

      Coin Toss Outcome

Although it’s a 50-50 probability, the Coin Toss is one of the most bet-on props on Super Bowl Sunday.

DraftKings currently has Heads and Tails at +100 each, while FanDuel and BetMGM have added some juice to the coin toss.

If you’re going to bet on this prop, use DraftKings.

      Anyway, here are the stats.

Tails has a winning record of 30-27. However, Heads has had the longest streak of five Super Bowls in a row. Still, Tails has won four consecutive times in three different spans.

Kansas City won the coin toss last year via Tails. The Chiefs called tails and got it right. That Tails hit killed a two-Super Bowl streak of Heads.

However, it won’t be the Chiefs calling the toss. The 49ers will officially be the road team in Las Vegas for this Super Bowl. The Niners won the toss with Tails in Super Bowl LIV against the Chiefs. I think they call Tails and win on Tails again this time.

      Bet: Tails (+100)
