Top College Basketball Picks for Tuesday, March 8 (2022)
It was another profitable day yesterday. But I wonât sit here and brag. I wouldnât have been if it werenât for David Jean-Baptisteâs miracle shot at the buzzer. Crazy how sports betting works. Anyway, back to the grind today with three more best bets. Every bet is playoff basketball. Itâs March. So get ready!

Boston College vs. Pittsburgh: Boston College -130
(2:00 p.m. ET)
The ACC Tournament begins today, and while tonightâs showcase wonât be ACC basketball from a skill standpoint, itâs still fun to know that the power conferences are starting their tournaments.
Boston College should limit turnovers and have more success inside the paint compared to Pittsburgh. Neither team defends the three all that well, but neither team shoots it from long-range well either.
Pittsburgh is turning the ball over 21.1 percent, while Boston College is turning the ball over just 17.6 percent of the time. Iâll take the team that should ultimately get more shot attempts from the field.

Wagner vs. Bryant: Wagner +4.5 (-110)
(7:00 p.m. ET)
This game was expected between Wagner and Bryant for the NEC Championship game. Both teams deserve this opportunity, but Wagner will get the job done tonight.
Wagner earns 33.7 percent offensive rebounds and should force more turnovers while shooting at a higher percentage. Wagner has a 50.6 percent effective field goal percentage compared to Bryantâs 49.6 percent effective field goal percentage.
The Bulldogs love to shoot threes but are just 30.5 percent from downtown. Meanwhile, Wagner has held opponents to just 29.5 percent from downtown throughout the season. If Bryant clanks threes and Wagner can do a good job of cleaning up the glass, the Wagner Seahawks will win the NEC and punch a ticket into this yearâs NCAA Tournament.

Delaware vs. UNC Wilmington: Delaware -130
(7:00 p.m. ET)
The Delaware Blue Hens have looked like the team to beat in the CAA Tournament this year. Through two games, Delaware won both games by double digits and just knocked off the one-seeded Towson to play in this game.
UNC Wilmington defeated Delaware twice already this year. However, both games were decided by single digits. The Blue Hens have one of the best mid-major offenses in college basketball, hitting 35.4 percent from three and 54.5 percent from inside the arc. Meanwhile, UNC Wilmington has struggled to defend the three, allowing 37 percent from opponents from downtown this season.
Even though UNC Wilmington makes teams work on the defensive end, it seems like they get worn down defending at times, and it can translate into lousy offense, where they shoot 32.4 percent from three and 47.1 percent from inside the arc.
Give me Delaware to cut down the nets in the CAA.
