Chicago White Sox @ Kansas City Royals
Nothing is stopping Garrett Crochet right now. The 24-year-old right-hander has thrown two games for the White Sox this season. Heâs allowed two earned runs in 13 innings in those two games. Heâs also got 16 strikeouts and a WHIP of just .69.
Crochet has struck out 33.3% of batters faced and has walked just 2.1%. In addition, heâs held teams to a .065 ISO and wOAB of .188 while earning 45.2% of grounders. Heâll take on a Royals lineup that has struck out 23.7% of the time, dating back to last yearâs season. The Royals also have five batters who have hit an ISO of .143 or worse, dating back to last season.
On the other hand, the Royals will pitch Alec Marsh, who also looked really good in his first start of the season. He went seven innings and struck out five while holding a WHIP of .43 against the Orioles. Marshâs strikeout rate wasnât high, but he limited power and held the Orioles to a wOBA of .135.
The Chicago lineup looks lifeless with Luis Robert Jr. on the Injured List. Dating back to last season, the lineup has hit a .134 ISO and wOBA of .298 against righties. Not a single player on the White Sox has hit an ISO of .175 or higher against righties since last season.
Weâll back the Under in this one.

Seattle Mariners vs. Milwaukee Brewers
The Seattle Mariners will roll with Emerson Hancock, who won in his first start of the season. Hancock still had a 5.06 ERA and only struck out 4.3% of batters faced in his first start against Cleveland.
The right-hander also earned just 26.3% of grounders and allowed a .158 ISO in that game.
While the Brewers havenât been super consistent offensively, Milwaukee should at least put the ball in play. When you do that, good things happen. Ultimately, just three players in the projected Milwaukee lineup have struck out more than 22.5% of the time.
Meanwhile, Colin Rea looked better in his first start against the Mets. He allowed five hits in five innings but gave up only one run and won. He dominated against lefties, holding them to a .000 ISO and wOBA of .068. He also didnât walk a single lefty despite facing 13 of them.
The Mariners will have mostly lefties in their lineup. Seattleâs projected lineup has also struck out more than 25% of the time against righties since last year. If Rea elevates his strikeout number and continues to throw strikes, the Brewers should earn the win at home.
Letâs back the Brewers on the moneyline at -125.
Bet: Brewers (-125)
