Top MLB Parlay for Tuesday, April 12 (2022)
The greatest thing about betting on the MLB is that if you have a bad day, you can get some rest and pick right back up by betting on the league the next day. Most teams will play every day other than on get-away trips where a team has to travel a long distance.
So if you had a bad day yesterday, keep your head up and continue to grind. Hereâs my favorite parlay of the day.

Bet $5, Win $200 on Any MLB Moneyline
Los Angeles Dodgers (-135)
You wonât be finding the Los Angeles Dodgers at -135 for most of the year, so capitalize on it while you can. The Twins will send out Chris Archer, who had a 5.05 xFIP in limited work in 2021. Archer was injured for most of last season, but thatâs even more reason to fade him because itâs hard to believe that heâll be able to go deep in this game. Archer has been a walking machine as of late, with 9.6% walks last season in the few games he started.
Meanwhile, the Dodgersâ lineup had a .199 ISO and wOBA of .350 last season against righties. Two guys that can shy include Mookie Betts and Will Smith, and both of tremendous power against righties and limit ground balls very well. Look for a bounce back from the Dodgers.
Bet: Dodgers (-135 at DraftKings)
Boston Red Sox (-125)
Letâs get an early game out of the way. The left-handed Tyler Alexander will get the start for the Tigers, and he had a 5.07 xFIP last season in over 400 plate appearances. Against righties, Alexander struggled, giving up a .335 wOBA and ISO of .199. The Red Sox will have seven righties in the lineup, including right-handed sluggers like Trevor Story and Bobby Dalbec. They destroyed left-handed pitching last season with ISOâs at .287 or higher and a wOBA of .368 or higher.
On the other hand, Rich Hill will take the mound. He doesnât have the analytics or numbers to back up all of his performances. But heâs a tricky pitcher that eats five innings and limits damage. Detroitâs lineup has not been very great this season other than Javier Baez, which will continue into this game.
Bet: Red Sox (-125 at DraftKings)
St. Louis Cardinals (-170)
The Cardinals will take on a left-handed starter in Daniel Lynch. Last season, Lunch had a 5.75 xFIP with just 17.7% strikeouts, and 9.7% walks. He only induced 39.5% ground balls and allowed a .328 BABIP. Righties hit a .384 wOBA, an ISO of .201, and the Cardinals will have a full nine-man lineup of righties, including power sluggers like Paul Goldschmidt, Tyler OâNeill, and Nolan Arenado.
Last season, against lefties, the projected lineup hit an ISO of .271 and wOBA of .371. This Cardinals lineup should rake early.
Bet: Cardinals (-170 at DraftKings)
