Tuesday’s Best MLB Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Arizona Diamondbacks (+140) at Philadelphia Phillies (-166) | O/U 8.5 (-105/-115)

The rookie Brandon Pfaadt gets the task of trying to lead Arizona to their first World Series appearance in over 20 years. After a rough first start in the Wild Card round against the Brewers, he’s been great in the last two, going a total of ten scoreless innings against the Dodgers and Phillies.

For the Phillies, Ranger Suarez has been incredible. He hasn’t gone longer than five innings, but he’s allowed one earned in three total starts and has not stressed an offense that has shined throughout the postseason.

The last time in this matchup, we saw a duel to the very end when the Diamondbacks walked it off in the ninth. That was in Arizona, which was one of the most pitcher-friendly ballparks this year. Citizens Bank is the opposite. Will we see the road team win two straight in both series? It’s hard to tell, but like most of the games in Philadelphia, it will be high-scoring.

Pick: Over 8.5 (-105)
