Milwaukee Bucks at Orlando Magic
The Bucks were on the short end of a 126-124 decision against the Indiana Pacers last time out on Thursday. Milwaukeeâs three-game winning streak came to an end as a result. It was the third straight non-cover for the Bucks, too, and Milwaukee is just 1-6-1 against the spread (ATS) in eight games overall.
The Magic suffered a 120-119 nail-biter loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night down in Mexico City in an International Series game, but it was able to hang on for the cover as 3.5-point underdogs. Orlando is 3-1 ATS in the past four games, while going 6-2 ATS in the previous eight outings overall, too.
On the road, the Bucks are 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS, while cashing the Over in each outing. The Over is 6-2 in eight games overall for Milwaukee, too.
For the Magic, theyâre 2-1 SU and ATS in three games in O-Town, while cashing the Under in all three games. As a result, weâll shy away from the total, as the results have been quite different for both sides.
The best play on the board in this game is looking to the side, playing the Magic catching two buckets at home. Milwaukee just hasnât been covering, and that 1-6-1 ATS mark for the Bucks is their record when favored, too.
Bet: Bucks +4 (-110)
Miami Heat at Atlanta Hawks
The Heat got well in Memphis on Thursday night, winning 108-102 as a 2-point favorite. Miami has won a season-high three in a row after a 1-4 SU start. The Heat also grabbed the cover as 2-point favorites, halting an ugly 0-5 ATS skid.
As mentioned above, the Hawks posted the 120-119 win against the Magic in Mexico, but Atlanta failed to cover a 3.5-point number while the Over (233) connected. Atlanta has won five of the past six games overall while splitting 3-3 ATS.
In this series, the Heat have won five of the past seven meetings, while Atlanta holds a slight 4-3 ATS advantage.
Miami has lost outright in all three games as an underdog this season while covering just once in Boston in a 119-111 loss as a 9-point underdog. The Over is 2-1 in three games as a âdog for Miami, too.
The Hawks are 2-2 SU as a favorite while going 0-4 ATS in those games. At home, Atlanta is just 1-2 ATS, too. As such, look for the Heat to pick up the cover catching more than two buckets.
Bet: Hawks +4.5 (-110)
Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors
The Cavaliers look for a regular-season series sweep after posting a 115-104 win as a 1-point favorite on Sunday as the Under (222.5) connected. The Cavaliers shot 49% from the field (41-of-83) while knocking down 11 3-pointers on 37 attempts. The Cavs did turn the ball over 18 times in the victory, but Cleveland was able to outrebound Golden State 55-44.
The Cavs had five players go for 12 or more points, with Evan Mobley exploding for 13 points and 16 rebounds with a blocked shot, while Donovan Mitchell dropped 31 points with seven dimes and two steals.
The Warriors saw Stephen Curry go for 28 points while hitting seven triples, but Golden State hit just 36% (34-of-94) from the field and left 10 points at the charity stripe with 67% (20-of-30) foul shooting. The Warriors turned it over 13 times, too.
Golden State has split at 1-1 SU in the past two games while covering the past two in a row since the setback in The Land. At home, the Warriors are 1-1 SU and 0-2 ATS. Meanwhile, Cleveland is 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS on the road, with the Over going 3-1 in those games. With the trends all over the board, we look to the series trends, and Golden State has won nine of the past 10 meetings outright, with the Warriors 7-1 ATS in the previous eight in the series. The Dubs are the play.
Bet: Warriors -3.5 (-110)
