Saturday’s Best NBA Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All wagers are for 1 unit

Sacramento Kings (+106) at Chicago Bulls (-124) | O/U 228.5 (-110/-110)

The Kings (28-19) make the sixth stop on a seven-game road trip in Chicago to take on the Bulls (23-26). Both of these teams actually have pretty similar numbers, as far as the spread is concerned. Sacramento is 25-21-1 against the spread (ATS), while Chicago is 25-23-1 ATS. However, Sacto has won and covered each of the past three meetings in this series dating back to March 14, 2022.

Sacramento is enjoying a pretty good road trip, too, going 4-1 SU and 2-2-1 ATS on the journey, and the Kings are a solid 7-4-1 ATS in the past 12 games overall. Against Eastern Conference teams, the Kings are 6-3 ATS in the past nine tries.

Chicago topped Charlotte by a 117-110 count last time out as a 6-point favorite, but that’s not anything to beat your chest about. Still, the Bulls are a decent 5-2 ATS in the past seven outings. Against Western Conference teams, however, the Bulls are a so-so 3-3 ATS in their past six outings. Look to Sacramento to get the job done and stay hot on the road.

Bet: Kings Moneyline (+106)

Los Angeles Lakers (+158) at New York Knicks (-188) | O/U 225.5 (-112/-108)

The Lakers (26-25) have been rather so-so, while the Knicks (32-17) are red-hot lately. In fact, New York managed a 14-2 SU record in the month of January, which was tied for the second-most wins in a month in franchise history, with only 15 wins in Dec. 1968 leading the way.

The Lakers won outright last time out in Boston as a 15-point underdog, 114-105. That’s shocking in and of itself that they topped the Celtics, but the fact both Anthony Davis (Achilles) and LeBron James (ankle) were sidelined is even more stunning. Both carry questionable tags for Saturday’s game at MSG.

Los Angeles is 1-2 ATS in the past three games, and 3-7 ATS in the past 10 games against Eastern Conference foes, including a 114-109 loss at Crypto.com Arena on Dec. 18 as a 5-point favorite. The Knicks have won nine in a row, while covering each of the past seven outings. New York is 6-1 ATS in the past seven games against Western Conference foes, too.

Bets: Knicks -4.5 (-110)

Cleveland Cavaliers (-400) at San Antonio Spurs (+315) | O/U 230.5 (-110/-110)

The Cavaliers (30-16) picked up a 108-101 win in Memphis to kick off a quick two-game road trip which wraps up in the Alamo City against the Spurs (10-39). The Spurs have actually been pretty decent against the spread lately, going 6-3 ATS in the past nine games, and 12-5 ATS in the past 17 games. That includes a 117-115 near-miss at Cleveland in the first meeting on Jan. 7, easily cashing as 10.5-point underdogs in the 2-point loss.

After a red-hot 9-2 ATS run from Jan. 3-29, the Cavs enter with back-to-back wins and non-covers. The books have pumped up the lines lately with Cleveland having won 12 of the past 13 games, but the underdogs are starting to catch up, and the books will surely adjust again.

Back the Spurs on their home floor, as they should be able to keep it within single digits, similar to the first meeting, although Cleveland should still get the job done to get another victory.

Bets: Spurs +9.5 (-110)
