Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks

Philadelphia added a 79-73 win over the Knicks on Sunday in Madison Square Garden. It was a low-scoring game between two rivals.

However, some things will change in this game. Tyrese Maxey will return from his concussion, while OG Anunoby is expected to make his return from elbow surgery.

Despite Sunday’s loss to the 76ers, the Knicks are still 2-1 against Philadelphia this season. This is another important game, with the 76ers and Knicks both fighting for a better position in the Eastern Conference.

Shots weren’t falling in the last game. However, the Knicks scored at least 110 points in the other two games against Philadelphia this season.

New York should still dominate the offensive glass and earn plenty of second chances, with the 76ers allowing 28.3% of offensive rebounds per game. It’s also likely the Knicks see the foul line more often. They’ll need to keep the turnovers down against a 76ers team that ranks 5th in turnover percentage this season.

On the other hand, the 76ers do a terrific job getting to the foul line as well. The difference is that the Knicks have allowed a 17.5 free throw rate defensively this season, which is fourth-best in the league. The Knicks will do a better job limiting foul shots and second chances on their way to their third win over Philadelphia this season.

Back the Knicks at -6.5 (-110).

Bet: Knicks -6.5 (-110)

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Many players are questionable for this game. On the Los Angeles side, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are both game-time decisions after missing the game against Milwaukee on Sunday.

On the other hand, Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, Kyle Anderson, and Monte Morris are all questionable on Minnesota’s side.

Gobert, Anderson, and Morris didn’t play in Minnesota’s most recent loss to the Lakers.

Of course, the Clippers are currently without Russell Westbrook, while the Timberwolves no longer have Karl-Anthony Towns due to an injury.

The Timberwolves have the best defense in the NBA, holding teams to 108.7 points per 100 possessions and limiting opponents to a 51.2% effective field goal percentage this year. When the Clippers struggle to make shots, they’ll also struggle to earn second-chance points against the Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, Minnesota’s offense is nothing special. The turnovers could get a little high, and they’ll also struggle to earn a high rate of offensive rebounds.

Therefore, I’m on the Under 215.5.

Bet: Under 215.5 (-110)
