Top NBA Prop Odds & Picks for Friday, May 13 (2022)
Last night, we finally saw the first team to get eliminated from the conference semifinals matchups. The Philadelphia 76ers ended up losing in six games to the Miami Heat.
Tonight, there are two games with potential knockouts. The Milwaukee Bucks are leading the Boston Celtics, 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and will play a home game tonight against the Celtics. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors are also leading 3-2 against the Memphis Grizzlies, with a chance to end the series at home tonight.
Which players will step up in tonightâs games? Here are our top three player props for the two Game 6 matchups.
Bucks vs. Celtics: Jayson Tatum Over 29.5 Points
Itâs an elimination game tonight for the Celtics. Tatum is earning over 40 minutes per game and taking about 22 shots per game. Heâs had just one game where shots didnât fall. Heâs scored 29 points or more points in three of the first five games of the series and had just added 34 and 30 points in back-to-back games.
Tatum is going to look to get going early and continue putting up a high volume of shots. Recently, heâs also been more aggressive and getting to the line at a higher pace. The assists numbers are also down from earlier in the playoffs as well.
Stars are born in these moments. Just ask Jimmy Butler. Take Tatum to get 30 points tonight.
Bet: Jayson Tatum Over 29.5 Points (-108 at FanDuel)
Bucks vs. Celtics: Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 6.5 Assists
Antetokounmpo is playing bully ball. Heâs not looking to pass. Instead, heâs doing whatever he can to get into the paint and score. Heâs done very well with this approach after putting up 40 points, on the road, in a Game 5 that Milwaukee stole from Boston.
Antetokounmpo added three assists in Game 5 and just five assists in Game 4. Heâs not looking to get others involved. And quite frankly, when he does get others involved, those around him are missing shots anyway. Thatâs why Iâll grab his under 6.5 assists, despite the juice being a bit heavy.
Bet: Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 6.5 Assists (-148 at FanDuel)
Warriors vs. Grizzlies: Draymond Green Over 7.5 Rebounds
Draymond Green only played 22 minutes in Game 5. The game was basically over at the tip. Green added seven rebounds, five assists, and five points in those 22 minutes.
In the game before, Green brought down 11 rebounds in 33 minutes. Really, the only times Green has struggled to get a high amount of rebounds is in games that are blowouts.
While I think the Warriors win tonightâs game, Iâd also like to imagine that the Grizzlies keep it close in a do-or-die type of game. Therefore, Green should ultimately get eight or more rebounds in tonightâs game as long as he gets 30 minutes of game action.
Bet: Draymond Green Over 7.5 Rebounds (-132 at FanDuel)
