The wait is almost over as the NFL world anticipates a great Super Bowl with two teams that are regarded as two of the league’s best. The spread is very small for this game. Will it be the great Patrick Mahomes hoisting the Lombardi Trophy once again, or will the 49ers have their day after vying to get back to the Super Bowl since the Chiefs beat them in early 2020?

Best Super Bowl LVIII SGP: San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

We are leaning towards a shootout in this game after watching the Lions put up 24 first-half points in the NFC Championship. I believe the Chiefs are almost a sure bet to get to 27-28 points in this game. The key for this over is how the Chiefs’ defense fares against this potent 49ers offense. To make matters worse for KC, DE Charles Omenihu tore his ACL vs. the Ravens and is out for this game.

That said, it would be a shock if one of these teams didn’t reach 24 points. Even if the Chiefs lose this game, I still see Mahomes putting up a lot of yards against this 49ers secondary. Andy Reid will go down swinging and will not hesitate to leave this game in the hands of his phenomenal quarterback. Although the 49ers are probably keying in and game-planning for Travis Kelce, Mahomes will still find a way to get him the ball, as they have great chemistry when the play breaks down.

On the other side of the ball, George Kittle could really be the X-Factor for the 49ers. If he’s having success in the passing game, look out. Kyle Shanahan is a dangerous play-caller when this offense is clicking, and there’s almost no chance of stopping all of their different weapons on the ground and through the air. If the run game opens up early on and Kittle gets touches over the middle, it could be a long day for this Chiefs defense.

Don’t be surprised if we see 60+ points from these potent offenses with two genius offensive minds behind it all.
