Top NFL Week 13 Player Prop Bets: Picks & Predictions (2024)

NFL Week 13 began with four games during Thanksgiving and Black Friday, resulting in a smaller board for Sunday’s slate. There are a lot of good matchups to target in Week 13 as the playoff hunt heats up in the final third of the regular season schedule.

Week 12 was disappointing regarding my player prop recommendations. It was an 0-3 outing, reverting from a 3-0 sweep in Week 11, so let’s bounce back on Sunday to build our bankroll and enjoy these games on the gridiron. Notable matchups include the Chargers vs. Falcons, Steelers vs. Bengals, Cardinals vs. Vikings, and Eagles vs. Ravens.

I’ve got three NFL player props to bet on during Sunday's Week 13 slate. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more NFL free bets and weekly analysis.

NFL Week 12 Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Justin Herbert O 249.5 Passing Yards (-113)

Justin Herbert’s ascension under Jim Harbaugh has been fun to watch. In Week 13, he’s gifted a favorable matchup against Atlanta’s secondary, which is allowing the sixth-most net passing yards per attempt (6.5). The Falcons have given up 250 or more passing yards in three of their last four games, including matchups against Baker Mayfield, Derek Carr, and Bo Nix.

Herbert is on caliber with all three of these aforementioned signal-callers, so at -113 odds, we’re staking a unit on Herbert to go over 249.5 passing yards and bounce back against a porous Atlanta pass defense.

Baker Mayfield O 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-118)

Baker Mayfield has been carving up defenses all season following his off-season extension with Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers’ franchise quarterback has thrown two or more touchdowns in seven games this season but has been held below this threshold in two consecutive outings against the 49ers and Giants.

In a divisional matchup against Carolina, who have allowed 21 passing touchdowns and recorded the fourth-lowest number of interceptions (5) in 2024, Mayfield should be able to throw all over the field in a plus-matchup on the road against the Panthers. The NFC South is up for grabs and the Buccaneers have enough talent on offense to get Mayfield over 1.5 passing touchdowns in this NFC South tilt.

Let’s stake a unit on Mayfield to finish with over 1.5 passing touchdowns facing a bottom-tier Carolina pass defense.

Saquon Barkley O 19.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

The game of the Week 13 slate is undoubtedly the 9-2 Philadelphia Eagles visiting the 8-4 Baltimore Ravens. Eagles RB Saquon Barkley has been fully unleashed in the backfield during his first year in Philadelphia and its led to seven consecutive wins out of their Week 5 bye.

Barkley has been the integral piece and motor of the Eagles’ offense in 2024 but he’ll have a very difficult matchup against Baltimore’s excellent run defense. Expect Eagles QB Jalen Hurts to utilize his star running back’s ability as a receiver out of the backfield frequently to move the football against the Ravens in a difficult road environment.

Barkley has 20 or more receiving yards in three of his past four games played and has gone over this number six total times. In a high-stakes atmosphere with the league’s best running back taking the MVP race by storm, expect Philadelphia to feed Barkley targets in the passing attack to compete against Baltimore’s stout defensive front. Let’s stake one more unit on Barkley to finish with over 19.5 receiving yards.
