Top NFL Week 5 Player Prop Bets: Picks & Predictions (2024)
Weâre back with another edition of NFL Week 5 player prop bets for Sundayâs slate. We went 1-2 in Week 4, with Aaron Jones sailing over 59.5 rushing yards against his former team, while D.J. Moore and Kyler Murray fell short of going over 4.5 receptions and 232.5 passing yards.
Despite bye weeks going into effect for Detroit, Tennessee, Philadelphia, and the Los Angeles Chargers, I've got three Week 5 NFL player props to wager during Sunday's slate. This includes one during the first NFL London Games matchup at 9:30 a.m. ET between the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly analysis.

Aaron Jones O 25.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Weâre sticking with Aaron Jones props, but instead of rushing yards, which oddsmakers have bumped up to 64.5 against the Jets, weâre backing the Vikingsâ RB1 to finish with over 25.5 receiving yards instead. Jones has hit this mark in three consecutive games for Minnesota, and based on how good the Jetsâ secondary plays opposing wideouts, we may see Jones go from six targets to eight targets in London.
Heâs a great receiver out of the backfield and a strong safety valve option for Sam Darnold, so letâs back Jones with a one-unit wager to finish with at least 26 receiving yards on Sunday morning against New York.
Lamar Jackson O 55.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
Baltimore gets a dream matchup against Cincinnati, a defense has been one of the worst in the league at stopping the run. The Ravensâ run-centric scheme features a heavy dose of RB Derrick Henry and QB Lamar Jackson to move the football downfield.
Jackson has gone 55.5 rushing yards twice in four games, falling just short with 54 rushing yards during Baltimoreâs 35-10 rout of Buffalo in Week 4. Heâs had plenty of success as a ball carrier against the Bengals in previous matchups, but now, with how porous Cincinnatiâs defended the run in 2024, Jackson may record 100 rushing yards on the road in Week 5. Stake a unit on Jackson to go over 55.5 rushing yards against the Bengals.
Bo Nix O 18.5 Completions (-114)
Denver rookie QB Bo Nix found a way to get the Broncos a second straight win on the road during Week 4. It was ugly, but Nix has shown a lot of resilience to adversity, especially after failing to throw a touchdown pass during his first three games. Facing one of the tougher secondaries in the league, Nix threw his first touchdown pass in Week 4 against the Jets, which was huge, putting the Broncos up 7-6, winding up as the gameâs only touchdown.
Nix is building his confidence in head coach Sean Paytonâs offense and returns home, drawing a good matchup against Las Vegas. The Raiders have allowed 88 completions, 10th-highest in the league this year. Nix has completed 19 or more pass attempts in every game up until Week 4, so expect a solid bounce-back in the passing attack from Nix against a vulnerable Las Vegas secondary.
