Top NFL Week 6 Player Prop Bets: Picks & Predictions (2024)

This week’s NFL Week 6 player prop bets for Sunday’s slate are set for the early and late afternoon window. Once again, we went 1-2 in Week 5, with Aaron Jones and Lamar Jackson both falling short of their receiving and rushing yard props by half a yard. Meanwhile, Bo Nix just cleared his pass completions prop at 18.5, finishing 19-of-27 during a 34-18 rout of Las Vegas.

Baker Mayfield O 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+108)

Baker Mayfield is going to be looking to start aggressive early on the road against New Orleans, another NFC South divisional rival after the Buccaneers dropped a 36-30 loss to Atlanta on the road in primetime last week. Mayfield’s had 10 days to prepare and he’s thrown for two touchdowns against the Saints in each of his outings during 2023.

Tampa Bay’s QB1 has thrown for less than two touchdowns in two of five games this season, which came against Detroit and Denver. New Orleans ranks first in the NFL in fewest passing touchdowns allowed (1) this season, but Mayfield’s prepared to deliver with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and the rest of the Buccaneers offense. The Saints are allowing 6.3 net yards per pass attempt, which is 10th-most in the league, so let’s pounce on these plus odds for Mayfield in a bounce-back spot.

Tony Pollard O 65.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Tony Pollard recorded a season-high 22 carries during Tennessee’s first win of 2024 against Miami in Week 4. Coming out of a bye week, expect more of the same from Pollard, who has recorded over 65.5 rushing yards in two of four games played this season.

Pollard has plenty of volume, earning 16+ carries in three of four games, while Indianapolis is allowing 4.5 YPC, 15th-most in the league. With Will Levis back under center, the best way to mitigate turnovers is by handing the ball off to Pollard, who has proven to be a reliable asset out of the backfield. Let’s stake a unit on Pollard to go over 65.5 rushing yards at -110 odds at home, off of a bye, in a division rivalry game against a shaky run defense.

Josh Jacobs O 67.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Josh Jacobs has had a good season for Green Bay and finally ended his touchdown drought against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. However, we’re focusing on Jacobs’ rushing yards for this prop bet.

Arizona is allowing 4.6 YPC and 739 rushing yards, which are both in the bottom-half of the league. The Packers have turned to Jacobs 16+ times on the ground with Jordan Love healthy in two of three games, as he just recorded 73 rushing yards against the Rams. It’s game-script dependent, but based on Arizona’s weakness at stopping the run, expect a good head coach like Matt LaFleur to feed Jacobs enough carries to get him over 67.5 rushing yards for a second consecutive week.
