The Predators and Sharks will host one more game in Prague before the full slate of games kick-off. The first game on Friday was tight until the second period when Nashville break it open for the 4-1 win. How will it go with a quick turnaround?

San Jose Sharks (+155) @ Nashville Predators (–188) (Game played in Prague, Czech Republic)| O/U 6 (-114/-106)
This wasn’t the best game for Nashville, but their line depth was prevalent, and it helped them get the win. Nashville extended their top shifts and took advantage of San Jose’s bottom lines, and it helped get the offense going in the second period. It’s the first game of the season, and there will be some learning curves.
The Predators have talent on each line and were one of the better offenses in the league last year averaging 3.20 goals per game.
The Sharks are looking like they’ll be a participant in the Connor Bedard sweepstakes. The offense has Timo Meier and Tomas Hertl, but they do not possess much depth on the lines, and their defense looked awful on Friday
San Jose missed a ton of opportunities to score and was unable to take advantage of some of the defensive breakdowns by Nashville, missed on some fast breaks, and a couple of their shots banged off the polls.
Last night, Nashville could easily attack the creases and grab second-chance shots while their defense wasn’t perfect, but San Jose did not play aggressively and attack the net. This game could have been much closer if the Sharks had taken advantage of some of the mistakes.
The Predators know this win was easier than it should have been, but I don’t know if you can expect much of a change with a 24-hour turnaround. That will be the same case with the Sharks, they have some talent on offense, but the defense was outmatched. With pure talent alone, the Predators should win this game.
