Betting the GIFT (Goal In First Ten) is simple. Pick whether or not a game will have a goal scored in the first 10 minutes of play (00:00-09:59). It's that easy and all you have to do is root for anyone to score and you win. It is an area of hockey betting with a high success rate league-wide, with over 87% of the league currently cashing at 50% or better this season. By the end of the season, that number should be even closer to 90% meaning there is still plenty of money left to be made from GIFTs this season.
Anytime Goal Scorer props are even easier. Pick a player to score and if they light the lamp at any point, you win!
Last time out we cashed an ATG parlay to the tune of a +605 return!
My published picks are 51-31 (.622) since Nov. 23, including a stellar 25-4 (.862) record cashing GIFTs and a 28-28 (.500) record on ATGs. Let’s roll!

Seattle Kraken at St. Louis Blues
The Kraken are expected to send out Joey Daccord to guard the crease. The 28-year-old Boston native comes in at 20-14-3, carrying a 2.45 GAA and a .917 Save% this season. Seattle is 34-25 (.576) cashing the GIFT this season, including an 18-10 record (.643) away from Climate Pledge Arena. The Kraken have covered the GIFT in three of their last five games and six of their last 10 overall. This includes six of their last seven on the road dating back to January 7.
On the opposite end of the ice, St. Louis will likely roll out Jordan Binnington to defend the net. The 31-year-old Canadian, fresh off a 4 Nations Face-Off Championship, is 16-19-4, carrying a 2.84 GAA and an .898 Save% this season. The Blues are 39-19 (.672) cashing the GIFT this season with a 21-9 record (.700) on the friendly Bridgestone Center ice. The Notes have cashed the GIFT in 11 of their last 13 home games and seven of their last 10 games overall.
These teams’ combined 73-44 record (.640) cashing the GIFT this season and this includes a 39-19 (.672) in these home/road conditions should mean red lights early in The Lou.
