Ottawa has cashed GIFTs at a 69% (32-of-46) rate overall, 2nd behind only Tampa Bay (70%) and their road strike rate is an incredible 89%. GIFTs away from Canadian Tire Centre account for 17 of their 32 GIFTs overall. The Sens have cashed in six of their last 10 games overall. As if Ottawa road GIFTs couldn’t be prettier, Mads Sogaard, along with his 5.09 GAA and 0.825 SV%, is expected to man the crease for the Sens
Detroit’s season GIFT rate of 65% (28-of-44) is tied for 5th in the NHL and they are nothing if not consistent, maintaining that 65% rate regardless of home ice or not. The Red Wings have cashed in four of their last five home games and six of ten overall.
