(Odds courtesy of BetMGM)

Chicago Blackhawks (+200) @ St. Louis Blues (-250) | O/U 6.0 (-105/-115

The Blues (87 points) are running out of time to make a playoff push, as they’re five points out of the final Wild Card spot with just four games remaining. They’ll hope to pick up an easy two points tonight as they host the Blackhawks (51 points). Puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

Despite the team in front of him, Petr Mrazek is putting together a respectable season in goal for Chicago. It’s confirmed that Mrazek will start tonight, and he comes in at 18-28-4 with a 3.01 GAA (36th) and .908 SV% (19th). The 32-year-old has been excellent this month, going 1-1-0 with a 2.04 GAA and .945 SV%. With the combination of Mrazek’s play and Chicago’s bottom-tier offense, I’m not expecting much scoring tonight. I’ll play the under.

Chicago’s offense has been a joke this season. They’re dead last in overall scoring (2.2 GPG) and 28th on the power play (16.52%). Meanwhile, St. Louis’ offense is hardly a powerhouse. They’re 27th (2.8 GPG) and 23rd (18.18%) in those respective categories. This will be the fourth and final meeting between the two sides, and at a hypothetical 6.0-goal total, they’ve split the over and under at a 1-1-1 clip. I think we’ll add another tally to the under column tonight, so let’s lock in the under.

Bet: Under 6.0 (-115)

Vegas Golden Knights (-105) @ Edmonton Oilers (-115) | O/U 6.0 (-120/+100)

The marquee matchup of the night comes in the Pacific Division as the Golden Knights take on the Oilers. Edmonton’s comfortably in control of the second spot in the division with 99 points, while Vegas is holding onto the second Wild Card spot with 92 points. Puck drop is set for 8:30 p.m. ET from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta.

After a slow start to the season, Edmonton’s offense is finishing strong, where they’re now averaging 3.6 goals per game (fourth). They’re also fourth on the power play, cashing 26.61% of their man-advantage opportunities. The Oilers have won five of their last seven games (5-2-0), scoring 3.7 goals per contest over the seven-game stretch.

Meanwhile, Adin Hill (lower-body) remains out for Vegas, and arguably their top defenseman, Alex Pietrangelo, is out with an illness. That’s not a great recipe for taking on one of the best offenses in the NHL. Logan Thompson should get the nod tonight, and he’s 1-2-0 this month, registering a 4.38 GAA and .857 SV%! I think this high-flying Oilers side should have enough to get by the champs. Give me Edmonton on the moneyline at this short price.

Bet: Edmonton Oilers Moneyline (-115)

Arizona Coyotes (+200) @ Vancouver Canucks (-250) | O/U 6.0 (-120/+100)

The Coyotes (71 points) had their two-game winning streak snapped last night when they were blanked in a 5-0 road loss to the Kraken. They’ll make the short trip to Vancouver for the second night of a back-to-back, where they’ll take on the Canucks (104 points). This Western Conference showdown is set for 10:30 p.m. ET from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Part of my thinking for playing the under in last night’s Arizona game was that Connor Ingram would be in-net. Instead, it appears the organization decided to save him for tonight. So, with the Yotes’ better netminder taking the crease tonight, I’ll lock in the under for this game. Ingram has been pretty sharp this season, going 21-20-3 with a 2.86 GAA (27th) and .909 SV% (17th). He also leads the league with six shutouts. If Ingram can hold up, I think this game comes in comfortably under the total.

This will be the third and final meeting between the two clubs, and Vancouver won both of the early matchups 2-1. While the Canucks are still sixth overall in scoring (3.4 GPG), they’ve fallen off recently, averaging just 2.6 goals per game over their current 3-4-0 run. Meanwhile, the Coyotes are just 18th in overall offense, putting up 3.0 goals per game. Factor in some potentially tired legs for the Yotes, and there’s a good chance they get stonewalled for a second straight night against Vancouver’s eighth-ranked defense (2.62 GAA). Give me the under in tonight’s NHL nightcap.

Bet: Under 6.0 (+100)
