Top Values, Odds & Picks to Win Super Bowl LVIII (2024)

We’re halfway through the NFL season!

While the Eagles, Chiefs, and 49ers are at the top of this year’s odds to win the Super Bowl, there are potential teams in the NFL that can sneak their way into the playoffs and earn a Super Bowl.

In sports, there’s been a lot of parity. Maybe not in the NFL, with the Chiefs earning multiple championships over the last few seasons. But overall, parity in sports is the new norm.

I’ve got a few value plays for teams to win the Super Bowl heading into Week 9.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. They’re sitting at 4-4 and have the healthiest roster they’ve had all season long.

The team is loaded with talent. They’ve got Derek Carr at quarterback, who they signed to a big deal in the offseason. Then the Saints have Alvin Kamara, Jamaal Williams, and Kendre Miller as running backs. Plus, at receiver, the talent includes Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, and Rashid Shaheed.

And while I speak highly of the offense, it’s been the defense that has kept the Saints in the playoff race.

That’s precisely why I like the Saints. If the Saints’ defense can continue to play at a high level and the Saints’ offense can play as expected, New Orleans will be dangerous in January!

Bet: Saints (+5500)

New York Jets

The Jets are sitting at 4-3 on the season. The defense is playing lights out, and Zach Wilson keeps the turnovers down.

That’s important. If New York can limit turnovers and play complementary football, they’ll win games with Wilson.

And when the Jets make the playoffs and Aaron Rodgers comes back, the New York Jets’ probability of winning a Super Bowl would be much higher, causing the odds to drop significantly.

If the Jets make the playoffs, anything can happen if Rodgers returns.

Bet: Jets (+6000)

Atlanta Falcons

This is a long shot for a reason. However, the Atlanta Falcons, at +7000, have a lot of value.

The Falcons have the easiest schedule remaining.

Atlanta will face Jaren Hall, Kyler Murray (maybe?), Derek Carr, Zach Wilson, Baker Mayfield, Bryce Young, Gardner Minshew, Justin Fields (probably?), and Derek Carr.

That’s the remaining schedule for the Falcons.

At 4-4, I’d expect the Falcons to earn a wild card spot at least. Maybe they’ll lose a couple of games to the Saints and Jets, but Atlanta should earn wins against the Vikings, Cardinals, Buccaneers, Panthers, Colts, and Bears.

When Atlanta makes the playoffs, you won’t find +7000 odds for the Falcons anymore.

Bet: Falcons (+7000)
