Travon Walker Now the Favorite to Go No. 1 Overall (2022 NFL Draft)
It’s officially NFL Draft Week, and the rumors and leaks are already starting to trickle out. This draft class doesn’t have the star power that we have seen in previous years, especially when it comes to the quarterback position. For those reasons, there hasn’t been a clear consensus on who the top overall pick will be or much chatter about teams looking to trade up in the draft.
For the last couple of weeks, it seemed that Michigan edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson was in line to be picked No. 1 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Today, however, we have a new favorite. Hutchinson has dropped to +150 odds according to the BettingPros Consensus, while George edge rusher Travon Walker is now at -150 to go first overall.
For Hutchinson, you can currently get +160 at Caesars Sportsbook, slightly above the +150 consensus. For Walker, FanDuel Sportsbook (-150) and DraftKings Sportsbook (-150) have the best odds, while others like BetMGM (-175) and Caesars (-200) appear to be more convinced that Walker will be the pick.
